Y/N P.O.V
Its dinner time and Valka was cooking. I sat next to Gobber and heard occasional murmurs about the food and her cooking. I couldnt tell if he meant it in a bad or good way. Valka was walking with a plate of fish skewers, she tripped and the plate fell. Toothless and Cloudjumper rushed to the food right when it hit the floor. Star was not amused at this. She huffed and sat closer to Grump. Cloudjumper ate the food and Toothless sniffed the ground where it was. He looked up at Cloudjumper as if he had just betrayed him. I giggled at this but stopped and turned away once Cloudjumper regurgitated the fish and Toothless ate this. I slightly gagged at this.
"I-im a little out of practice.." Valka said, embarrassed. Stoick Smiled at took her hand
"Well...I didnt marry you for your cooking.." he said teasing her softly. They hold each other for a moment then Stoick steps back to let her finish cooking.
After Valka finished cooking, We all took a bite of the fish and went silent. Gobber gagged a bit but played it off as if he coughed. He quickly threw the food over into Grump's mouth as if he were a trashcan. I put mine down straight in front of Star and Toothless as they ate it quickly.
"And once you move back in, with all of your dragons, Drago won't even stand a chance. Everything will be okay!" Hiccup said, breaking the silence.
I looked over at Valka who was overwhelmed. Stoick lays a hand upon Hiccup's shoulder, calming him.
"Slow down Son, It's a lot to take in." he chuckled.
"Oh, Gotcha" Hiccup said a bit awkwardly. I giggled a bit at this as I see Star and Toothless looking at each other.
Stoick quietly walked towards Valka, Whistling a tune that I remember my parents once sang. I saw Valka's eyes widen, hinting that she new this song as well.
Stoick smiles as he holds Valka's arms. Gently whispering something I couldnt hear.
"I'll swim and sail on savage seas, with ne're the fear of drowning," I could tell Stoick hadnt sung this song in a while, he stumbled on a few words and kept singing. I looked at Gobber who was quite into this. (Not in a weird way) "And Gladly ride the waves of life, If you would marry me." He sang, trying to find the slightest reaction in Valka. He saw a small one and kept singing. "No scotching sun.. nor freezing cold will-" Stoick was cut off to someone singing
"Will stop me on my Jour-ney..Sorry.." Gobber said, embarrassed. Stoick scowls at this but continues.
"if you promised me your, heart....And... Love.." Stoick pauses waiting for Valka to sing. I watch and stare at Valka to see what she will do next. Valka closes her eyes and lets out a sigh, I cover my mouth, thinking she wasnt going to sing. I was turning away when I hear,
"And love me for eternity..." Valka sings gently, Stoick grins as she takes a deep breath, and brushes past him. Lifting her forearm as an invitation to dance. She continues, "My dearest one my darling dear, your mighty words astound me. But I've no need for Mighty deeds when I feel your arms around me" Stoick laughs full-heartedly and keeps dancing with Valka. I turn to my right to see Gobber swinging around to this and giggle. I feel a tap on my right shoulder and see Hiccup standing next to me, offering his hand to dance. I laugh as I stand up, brushing my clothes off as we start to dance.
"But I would bring you rings of gold, I'd even sing you poetry, And I would keep you from all harm! If you would marry me" Stoick sings, everyone is dancing while they sing.
"I have no use for rings of gold, I care not for your poetry. I only want your hand to hold.." Valka answers him, leaving him to pick up where she left off.
"I only want you near me" Stoick continued, smiling.
"To love to kiss, to sweetly hold. For the dancin' and then dreaming. Through all life's sorrows and delights, I'll keep your love inside me." Valka, Stoick AND Gobber sang.
I smiled at hiccup who was amazed by his parents.
" I'll swim and sail through savage
seas, with ne'er a fear of drowning. And gladly ride the waves of life, if you will marry me!" They sang as Gobber carried the last note
"Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I'm still goinggggggg!" I laugh as Hiccup taps him "Okay I'm done!" Gobber says smiling.
