"She's been sitting there for days." Candy says and looks over at Flower.

"I know." I sigh.

Ever since we left the SI three days ago, all Flower does is stare out the window all day long. It's been raining since we left and that only makes it all worse. I tell Flower constantly to get away from the window and come do something else but she claims that she likes watching the rain.

I look over to Flower and her lip starts quivering. "I've got her this time." I tell Candy and I rush over to her. One minute, Flower is fine and just stares blankly out the window, but a few times a day, she'll just start crying out of nowhere. Candy and I have both noticed that when her lip starts shaking, the tears start falling. I comfort her as much as I can but if I'm out, then Candy takes care of her.

"You're going to be okay," I kiss her forehead as I cradle her against my chest. "I'm here."

"She hates me, Zayn. She hates me so much and I...I just..." she cries into my aching chest.

"No one hates you, babe. She's just frustrated that's all. She'll come around." I say but I'm not sure if I'm telling the truth. I don't know Jade or what's even happening right now but all I know is that Flower lost someone important to her.

And it's because of me.

"I think I'm gonna be sick." she quickly excuses herself from my arms and runs to the nearest bathroom. I hear gagging sounds so I rush in there to hold her hair back and comfort her. I hate being sick and throwing up is the absolute worst in my opinion. 

"You alright?" I ask when she seems to be done.

She nods and wipes her mouth with the back of her hand. "I need to brush my teeth."

I laugh and then walk over alongside the toilet. "And flush this thing." I say and pull the lever down to flush the toilet. 

She begins talking with a mouthful of toothepaste. "I can't believe I'm actually throwing up over her. She said horrible and unspeakable things to me about..."

"About?" I push for more information.

Flower looks into the mirror before her and says, "About you."

For some reason, I feel guilty but I'm not sure why. It's probably because I caused this problem. I fell in love with this girl when the law has to say otherwise and it has ruined her friendship with Jade. "Don't worry about me. I can take it."

She spits her toothpaste out into the sink and rinses out her mouth. Flower just shakes her head. "I don't think you can, Zayn. People in this world are cruel. Maybe not to you, but they're top-notch evil to us. You've never been given half mistreatment that we get and we get it everyday." she sniffles. "I know you're strong Zayn, but I everyone has their limits."

"You're my limit." I say. She furrows her eyebrows in confusion and I nod. "You're my limit, Flower. If someone disrespects you, I'll attack. You're the last straw for me."

She gives a small, sincere smile and says, "You're my limit too." just above a whisper.

"Really?" I can't help but smile.

She nods. "I wanted to rip Jade's head off. But instead I just beat her up verbally."

I gasp and bring my hand to my chest in shock. "Flower was...mean? I've never heard of such a thing!"

She laughs and shoves at my shoulder. "There's more to me than you know."

I lean into her and peck her lips. "I'd like to find out more."
