"Did you notice anything suspicious when Niall was around?" Zayn asked Leigh-Anne while we all sat in couches and chairs.

She shrugs and shakes her head. "He was out a lot, never really bothering me, but I didn't suspect that he would be siding with Des. I thought he was Harry's friend."

Zayn sighs and I hear him mumble, "We did too." so I give him a small smile and rub his knee. Zayn hasn't really had time to react to Niall's betrayal since he was focused on getting me back but now that he's got time to himself, he's been pretty sad lately.

Zayn, Harry, Louis, Niall, and Liam were the best of friends before all this happened. Niall unexpectedly hurt them all and they're taking it pretty hard. I hate seeing Zayn hurt like this and I can only guess that this is how he felt when I was moping around because of Jade.

Candy returns from the kitchen and gives us all some tea. "Thank you." Zayn says and she nods.

"Thank you for letting us stay here, Candy." Louis thanks her. 

"It's no problem, really." she smiles back at him.

I take a sip of my tea and then set it back on the table in front of me. "How did you even know about this place?"

Candy takes a seat on the armrest of Jesy's chair. "Back when I was Chosen by a man, I would always look for places I could possibly run away to when we were out driving. This place was one of them."

"We're in the middle of the woods, Candy. How did you just come across the place?" I question.

"He wanted to go on an early morning hike and needed someone to carry his bag." she rolls her eyes and we laugh. "What a diva. A real hiker carries his own stuff."

"And you're sure no one will find us here?" Zayn presses and Candy vigorously nods.

"Unless they've got a tracking device on you." she teases and Zayn tenses at the thought of them tracking us but gives her a weak smile.

"Where are the girls?" Louis asks, referring to Zayn's sisters and his mother.

"They all fell asleep on Trisha's bed. It's quite cute, actually. I wish I would've gotten a picture." Candy tells us and Zayn brings his hand to the small of my back.

Louis stands up and says, "I should be getting Leigh back to Niall's place before he tries to come looking for her."

Leigh stands up too and gives me a big hug. "I'll keep an eye on Niall." she whispers into my ear and I thank her with one last hug. 

We say goodbye Louis and Leigh and then they leave. I plop back down on the couch with a sigh and Zayn does the same. He tugs at my sleeves, pulling me onto his lap and I snuggle my head into his chest. We wrap our arms around eachother and I forget all our worries.

"I love you." he says softly and his lips meet the top of my head.

"I love you too, Zayn." I tell him and I tilt my head up just so I can kiss his jaw. Moving my head back down to his chest, he settles his chin on my head.

"I'm sorry all this happened. I really, really am. We should be at home right now, not here in this cabin." he says.

I shrug. "I don't know...I kind of like it here. It's got a nice, cozy feel to it, doesn't it?" I try to think positive of our situation.

He holds me tighter and I can tell he's smiling even when I can't see him. "Yeah, I guess so."

We stayed at Harry's house last night which was a pretty risky move considering that would probably be the first place Des would look for us when he realized we escaped the SI. We left this morning and Jade promised she would come see me soon and they'd keep an eye on Des. I already miss her.
