I slept at Mari's house last night. Nico and Pauly told me to just stay here considering Giana will be back soon and they need my intel. I slept on their very comfortable couch. However I didn't sleep very much. I was to worried about M to sleep. Guilt consuming my thoughts. I sit up and stretch my back out. I head to the bathroom to take a piss when I catch myself in the mirror. I look like hell. I have dark bags under my eyes and my hair is greasy with streaks of blood in it. My knuckles are bruised and scabbed over. I should have taken a shower yesterday. I wash my hands scrubbing some dried blood off. I also wet my hair and try to scrub some of the blood out. I dry my hands and hair with a hand towel that's hanging up in the bathroom before going back to the livingroom. I see a pretty but quite pregnant lady standing there and a very large muscly guy with tattoos everywhere standing beside her. I also see Jake. Fucking great. I sigh loudly causing everyone to look at me. I freeze when Giana's fierce glare is on me. She's terrifying.

"Who are you?" She asks sharply.

"He's Mari's boyfriend or whatever. They're together. Kind of. Its confusing really." Milly says answering for me. I take a deep breath and look her in the eyes.

"My names Beck." I say firmly. She's standing with her arms across her chest and her right hip sticking out. She looks at me from head to toe still glaring.

"He's cute. Go Mari." She finally says making my eyebrows shoot up and my eyes widen. Chase rolls his eyes.

"I'm right here Freckles." He points to himself. She smirks at him for a second before putting her resting bitch face back on.

"Okay so Nico filled me in on your whole story Beckett. Now considering that this is basically your fault that my sister has been kidnapped you better watch yourself. You're a fighter for Joseph Racoli and that is who kidnapped her which is concerning considering he's in good with my father. Does he know Mariana's last name? Because this is a declaration of war, a war that he wouldn't want to get involved in." Giana says to me. How the fuck did Nico know all of that?

"Um I-I don't think he knows who she is." I want to kick myself for stuttering.

"I figured so. Our first step is to visit Conner." She smirks an evil smirk scaring the hell out of me.

"Conner? Didn't you shoot him in the foot that last time you saw him?" Pauly asks Giana. My eyes widen for the third time today. I look around to see if anyone else is shocked by this but no one seems bothered. Chase actually smiles.

"That's my girl." He says proudly and kisses her forehead.

"Strap up. We leave in 15." Giana says before heading up stairs. Jake finally looks at me after all this time. He sends me a hard look and walks off. Guess he's still salty.

"Milly. Knock on the door, pretend to sell girl scout cookies or some shit. He won't let us in if he knows its me." Giana says to Milly.

"Come on seriously? This is Mari's expertise not mine!" Milly whines to Giana who just gives her a glare. Milly huffs and knocks on the door.

"Who is it?" A rough voice calls behind the door.

"Girl scout cookies." Milly says in a high pitched voice. Me, Chase, Giana, Nico, Pauly, and Jake are hidden in the corner of the porch. When he opens the door Chase plans to barge our way in this guys house. Everyone except me has at least one gun on them. Guns don't make me nervous or anything I've been around them before however I don't necessarily want Jake with a loaded gun this close to me.

The door opens and Chase pushes it in causing Conner to jump back. Giana walks in gun in hand. Conner's eyes widen and he tries to run but he doesn't get far as Chase grabs him by the back of the collar of his shirt. Giana smiles evily at him.

"Hello Conner. Long time no see." She has her gun pointed at him. He looks terrified but he's not the only one. I'm trying not to look afraid but she honestly scares me.

"How about you do your little nerd thing and find my sister. Joseph Racoli kidnapped Mari and I need her located now. Or I'll blow your fucking head off." She says while cocking the gun. He puts his hands up in a surrender motion.

"Okay okay okay. I'll help find Mari. But it may take a couple days. That Joe guy has alot of warehouses it'll be difficult to pinpoint which one he took her to." Conner says quickly.

"You have one day. We'll be back tomorrow Conner. And don't even think about leaving town. I have my men watching you around the clock. 24 hours starts now Conner. Tick toc." Giana says while walking out the door. Chase let's go of him and walks after Giana. Jake bumps his shoulder with mine before walking out and Milly smirks at me. I take a deep breath and walk out leaving Conner to do his thing.

We get back to Mari's house and I get my things planning to leave.

"Um where are you going new guy?" Pauly asks and everyone looks at me.

"Uh well I was going to go to my house until tomorrow." I say confused. Giana laughs.

"No." She says going back to what she was doing.

"No?" I question. She slowly looks up at me again sending me a deadly look.

"No. You're not leaving." She says harshly making me gulp.

"Um well... I thought I would go home and shower and stuff." I say quietly hoping she'll just let me go.

"We have a shower. We have clothes. We have a bed for you. You aren't going anywhere. We need you to brush up on your skills and make sure you know how to use a gun. If in fact Joe does know who Mari really is then we'll need you. Go shower." She says dismissively. Well it looks like I'm staying here in the DeLuca house.
