「【 I Like You Okay! ♡(Ishimaru x Mondo) 】」

Mall Date? #5

Mondo could still remember Ishimaru's exact words.

"Hey this is technically a date right?" Mondo
thought to himself as he combed through his hair.

He's been waiting all week to finally hang out with Ishimaru outside of school.

Mondo heard his phone buzz from across the room, he ran to go pick it up.

Saturday 4:22 pm [ Taka ]

Taka: Are we still hanging at the mall today?

Mondo: Yup, 4:40 right?

Taka: That's great! See you soon

Mondo held his phone to his chest, (well not for too long because radiation and stuff).

Mondo threw some stuff in his pocket and rushed out the door.

Once outside he mounted his motorcycle and sped off onto the road.

"Where is he? It's 4:50" Ishimaru checked his watch in disappointment.

"I'll wait around for a bit longer-" Ishimaru's thoughts were cut short by Mondo running over to him.

"Taka, I'm so sorry I'm late, I ran into some crazy traffic on the way over, I'm really sorry" Mondo said in between gasps.

Ishimaru smiled at his out of breath friend, "I was getting worried you know" Ishimaru patted Mondo's hair.

"Woah- your hair is down too"  Ishimaru pointed out.

"I know, I was too lazy to do it" Mondo responded finally regaining his breath.

"Well we're not gonna have any fun sitting her the whole time, let's go!" Ishimaru grabbed Mondo's wrists trying to pull him from his seat.

"I'm getting up, I'm getting up" Mondo pushed his chair out and shot up. "Okay, lets go Taka."

The two went all around the mall, stopping for free samples whenever they were offered.

"Oh this one is especially good" Mondo said in between bites.

"Mondo that's gross, finish your food before talking" Ishimaru slapped Mondo on his wrist.

Mondo smiled at Ishimaru, "Oh loosen up once in a while Taka" He handed Ishimaru one of the sample snacks.

The smaller boy's face lit up, "These are so good!" He reached for another one.

Mondo smacked his wrists and let out a laugh, "Taka stealing food isn't allowed in a mall environment."

Ishimaru rubbed his wrist and laughed as well.

"Oh c'mon that slap wasn't even that hard Taka" Mondo looked at Ishimaru's wrist.

"It still hurt though" Ishimaru snapped back.

"Fine fine I'll remember to go easier on you next time" Mondo went to throw his trash away.

Next the two boys went to the mall arcade.

Ishimaru always loved arcades, especially the claw machines.

"Mondo you have to help me win this!" Mondo turned towards the lit up claw machine.

Ishimaru pointed to one of the plushies inside the glowing machine.

"Ugh these things are always rigged, but if Taka wants me to help him, I have to" Mondo thought to himself as he pushed the coins into the machine.

He'd do anything to keep Ishimaru happy.

The first attempt to get the plush was a fail.

Same with the second...

And third...

And fourth...

"Sorry Taka, these things are rigged anyways" Mondo kicked the machine in front of him.

"It's ok Mondo, you still tried your best" Ishimaru hugged the taller boy.

Mondo felt himself begin to blush, at least Ishimaru couldn't see it in the dark lighting.

Ishimaru let go and continued to walk around the arcade.

"Mondo you have to try this game- Mondo?" Ishimaru turned around to see Mondo gone.

"Mondo?" Ishimaru kept walking in circles looking for him.

Meanwhile Mondo snuck off to the front counter.

"You guys sell one of those, uh plushies from that machine over there?" Mondo pointed out the machine to the worker.

"I'm sorry but we don't sell out prizes-"

"I WANT TO BUY THAT PLUSHIE!" Mondo grabbed the collar of the arcade worker and lifted him up.

"Ok ok ok sir please put me down!" The worker wiggled around.

"That's what I thought" Mondo passed the man ¥1000 (I think that's equivalent to $10).

The worker reached under the counter and pulled out the plushie, the exact one Ishimaru wanted from the machine.

Mondo grabbed the plush toy and went to find Ishimaru again.

"Taka!"

Ishimaru turned around.

"I got you this" Mondo pulled the plushie from behind his back, "Don't ask how, I just got it."

Ishimaru's eyes widened at the gift, "You got the plushie I wanted! Thank you!" Ishimaru ran over to Mondo and hugged him again.

"You're the best Mondo" Ishimaru smiled at him.

"Anything for you Taka" Mondo smiled back at him.
