The Great Lock In (pt 1) #7

Every year after exams, Hopes Peak High would host a giant lock in event for all the students. Pretty much as an award for the students for working so hard.

Mondo pushed open the gym door to see many students who were already there. Everyone had backpacks and sleeping bags, doubt they were gonna use them though.

"Hey Mondoooo!" Leon ran up to him and gave him a few back slaps. "How's it going with your boyfriend" Leon said in a mocking tone roughing up Mondo even more. "Oh shut up you asshat" Mondo scolded him and pushed his friend away.

Next he ran into his other friend Chihiro, he was quietly unpacking his stuff next to Leon's sleeping bag. "Hello Mondo!" Chihiro greeting the biker in his normal soft voice. "Unpack your stuff already, we have this spot claimed for everyone" Chihiro added and gestured Mondo to put his stuff down.

Mondo placed his stuff down and started looking around for Ishimaru, "Where is he?" Mondo thought to himself as he unpacked his sleeping gear.

Soon enough the familiar ruby eyed hall monitor burst through the gym doors. He ran over to Mondo and Chihiro. "Hey Mondo!" Ishimaru placed his stuff next to the taller boy's stuff. "Taka!" Mondo embraced Ishimaru in a side hug. Chihiro smiled the at the two, he knew Mondo had a crush on Ishimaru.

"Welcome to the Hopes Peak High Annual Lock In!" The principal announced from the stage up front. "Everyone please place your stuff down and be quiet so we can go over the rules", everyone in the auditorium groaned simultaneously, well except Ishimaru.

After 10 minutes of rules and speeches, the lock in could finally start. The students were free to roam around the gym and the school it self. "Mondo let's walk around" Ishimaru pulled on Mondo's arm. "Come on, come on" He kept pulling. Mondo quickly stood up and the two started walking towards the gym doors.

Chihiro eyed the two, he had to get them together some how. He started brainstorming some ideas. "Hey Leon, you see that too right?" Chihiro pointed towards the biker and the hall monitor. "Oh yeah they're totally gay for each other" Leon snickered while shoving some chips into his mouth.

Meanwhile in the hallway, Ishimaru and Mondo were talking non-stop. They kept walking until they got to the older side of the school. The students always made up stories about the stuff that lurked down the hall.

The two stared at the gated off area. Mondo grinned at the smaller boy next to him. "How about we go down here" Mondo suggested. Ishimaru wanted to decline, but he simply couldn't say no to him. Ishimaru was slowly starting to develop feelings for Mondo and he couldn't do anything about it.

"U-uh sure" Ishimaru stuttered, clearly scared of what lived behind the gate. Mondo noticed that the boy was clearly in fear. "Oh c'mon no need to be scared Taka, it'll be fun" Mondo reassured Ishimaru and grabbed his hand making both of them slightly blush. Mondo kicked the gate open after a few tries and then they stepped into the newly discovered area.

Everything was dusty and cob webs were everywhere. This caused Ishimaru to start sneezing. Mondo stopped walking concerned about Ishimaru's sudden sneezing. He did find it quite cute though.

After Ishimaru's sneezing episode, the boys continued onwards. To their surprise there wasn't much to see, just old awards and lockers. "See, I told you there was nothing to be scared of" Mondo pulled Ishimaru closer to him and hugged him. Ishimaru looked up at Mondo surprised, but he soon relaxed into the hug. They sat there for a few moments just embracing each other. Mondo started blushing looking at Ishimaru snuggle into his chest, he truly cared about the boy so much.

The two pulled away and just stared at each other, both of their faces pretty red. "We should probably get going, the others are probably waiting for you." Ishimaru grabbed Mondo's hand once more and they rushed back to the gym.

When the two arrived back in the gym, just as Ishimaru said, Chihiro and Leon were waiting for him. "We thought you guys would never come back, what were you two even doing?" Chihiro questioned Mondo. "Yeah what were you guys doing?" Leon added in his normal mocking voice. "We simply explored the school, that's all." Ishimaru responded and smiled. "Hmmm sure..." Leon said as he turned to talk to Chihiro again.

Ishimaru noticed how aggravated Mondo would get everything Leon made fun of them hanging out together. Ishimaru eyed Mondo yet again and smiled. He was starting to think Mondo might like him too.
