Chapter 2

Jamie

  I close the door to the Uber and it sets off.
  Kim, Elena and I are all in costume and are on our way to the Con.
  We're all pump up on sugar and energy drinks, blame Kim for that.
  I'm cosplaying Honey from MyHero, as for Kim and Elena, they're cosplaying as the Hitachiin Twins, Kaoru and Hikaru.
"Did you pack any Little Debbie cakes?"
I turn to Kim, "No. Was I supposed to?"
"That would've made your costume even cuter. Running around with little cakes."
"Or brownies," Elena jumps in.
"Well maybe I can buy some. Is there a store anywhere close to the Con?"
Kim shrugs and looks to Elena.
"Yeah, a small mall down the road, I'll go with you after we meet up with Heath."
"But, that's at like, 2:00pm," Kim complains.
"Yeah, and it's almost 1:00pm."
I look at Kim, "Calm down, I'll be fine without. You still know who I am based on the stuffed animal."

It's 2:03pm.
"Where is he?" I ask.
Kim shrugs, "Don't ask me."
"They're late, yes, but that's only because they got held up by a fan."
"Wait, multiple people?" I ask.
Elena nods, "Yeah, Heath has a friend coming with him. You'll see."
I gain a hair of suspicion but try and push it back.
"Maybe we should go get those cakes while you wait," Kim comments towards Elena.
"No, they're almost here."
I groan, "You've been saying that for ten minutes now."
"Well this time I mean it, look."
I follow Elena's gaze behind me.
Holy shit.
In front of us are two cosplayers, one as Deku one as Uraraka.
"Is that, remi.rem?" I ask.
  Elena hums out a yes. "Sure is. She's Heath's friend."

Remi

"Come on we're late," Heath whisper yells at me.
  I smile to the fans, "I'm sorry, we're in a hurry. It was so great meeting you two."
  They wave me off as I'm pulled by Heath.
  "Hold your shit, Heath. I'm coming."
  "Sorry," he mumbles out, "I'm just nervous and being late is a bad first impression."
  I roll my eyes, "You're already dating, I'm sure she doesn't mind."
  "But her friends mind, they wanna leave."
  "Then let's hurry up, okay?"
  He nods and I follow him.

  We make a round around the edge of the Con and slow down once we see people stood by the emergency exit.
  "I think that's them." Heath smiles, "Elena!"
  I smile as we gain three peoples attention.
  A cosplayer dressed as one of the Hitachiin Twins, from the Host Club, comes running towards Heath.
  They're pulled into a hug, Heath pulling them off their feet.
  Giggles are shared as the other two people approach us.
  I smile at the other two, leaving Heath and his girlfriend.
  "Hi, I'm Remi."
  I make eye contact with the shorter one, they're dressed as Honey.
  "Hi," they smile back, "I'm Jamie."
  They give me an awkward wave, signalling to me they know me.

  I turn to the other, taller, persons. This one dressed as the other Hitachiin twin. "Hi."
  They wave too.
  "Remi, this is Elean, Elena this is Remi."
  We share a quick "hi" too.
  "Heath, this is my sister Kim and my her friend Jamie."
  Heath waves too.
  "Uh, not to be rude but I'd kinda like to get going before we miss anything," Jamie speaks.
"Right, we had plans to go and get some Little Debbie sweets for Jamie to go with her cosplay," Elena smiles, "Would you guys like to come?"
"If you don't mind I'd like to stay here, we can wait for you?" Heath speaks.
I look at him, my eyes slightly wide. Bad move on his behave.
"I'll go with you," I offer.
"Thank you," she smiles.
Kim nods, "Cool let's go. Elena you can stay if you want. Catch up with Heath."
Wow, well played.
"Oh-Okay, we'll see you guys later."
I nod and wave as we walk off.
