Bakuguo P.O.V
Even after we entered the dorms, Deku ignored me again. Having spent that time trying to save me just to forgot I existed really pissed me off. Round face, Sonic the hedgehog, and icy hot were still protective of the small green haired nerd and I noticed that Icy hot was acting way too friendly for my taste. Once again I was back to creating situations where Deku would have to at least look at me but he found ways around it. It was becoming frustrating and with every passing day I grew more panicked. This wasn't like me.
One afternoon I wad sitting in my room when there was a knock on my door. I hesitantly stood up and unlocked the door. Red spikey hair filled my vision. "Kirishima?" I questioned.
"Hey can I ask something. I could be imagining it but I figured if anyone would know it would be you."
"Hm?" I walked away from my door and sat back on my bed.
Kirishima stepped in and closed the door. He glanced around my room for a moment and sighed. "You've noticed Midoriya ignoring you too?"
"Too?" I cocked an eyebrow at him.
"Well he's not really ignoring us but he doesn't talk much to the people who are always around you."
I bit the inside of cheek and felt a growl in the back of my throat. I didn't want to talk about this. I wanted a break from thinking about that shitty green haired asshole. "Bakuguo?"
"No. I don't know why and to be honest I don't care. He's a nerd and useless. Fuck him." That's not what I wanted to say.
"Yeah I guess that you wouldn't care. You never got along with him since the start."
I bit my lip as he walked out of room and closed the door behind him.Not long after there was the announcement that we would be getting our hero provisional license and decided that I would use that to get my mind off things. Everyone trained for the exam and worked on how to improve. After several days I was walking down the hallway when I saw a mass of green hair walk into the infirmary. I stopped and knew I looked as confused as I felt. I snuck up too the door and listened in through the crack in the door.
"I see you've adjusted to regular life with your injury." An old voice said happily
"Yeah for the most part. I still have some difficulty doing certain things but I've managed." Deku muttered.
"I know this is hard on you Midoriya but you've improved so much. May I ask who knows about it?" Recovery Girl asked
A long pause followed by a deep sigh and what sounded like sob. "Iida, Uraraka, and Todoroki."
"I assume that's why Todoroki joins you on most of your visits here."
There wasn't an answer but I could only assume he nodded.
"You will have to tell him eventually. I know you don't want too but he has a right to know."
"No...whatever it cost, whatever I have to do...Kacchan can't know."I walked away from the infirmary after that. I couldn't tell if my reason was because I didn't want to know more information or if it was because I knew to much. Of course I know I wanted to know what he refused to tell me but I was in no place to ask. I decided to work on my training and for awhile I forgot about Deku. I hung out with Kirishima, Denki, Sero and Mina while we trained for the upcoming exams. It was interesting to be able to talk to other people and not want to punch them in the face. The time passed by quickly and before anyone knew it, the hero license exam was upon us. UA of course was at a disadvantage due to the Sports festival but we still managed to pull through. The exam ended with everyone in Class 1A getting their provisional license except for Icy Hot and myself. We would have a lot of catching up to do. Deku was crying over the fact that he had gotten his and took a picture. That night, I begain to piece things together and came up with the conclusion that Deku must have gotten his quirk from All Might. It ended with a battle between the two of us and punishment from Aziawa but he had somehow come to an understanding of one another..for the most part. Our punishment was house arrest that involved cleaning the dorms and no fighting. Once again I was being ignored. I decided that they only way I was gonna get answers was if I got them myself. After everyone had gone to bed for the night, I found myself outside Dekus room. I heard voices inside and after about 5 minutes the door opened with a mass of red and white hair coming out. For a brief moment, my eyes met with his and he glared at me. It wasn't uncommon for him to do that after the sports festival but there was more hatred in his eyes. I pushed past Icy hot and closed the doot behind me as loud as I could. From bed in the corner of the room, Dekus head shot straight up and with wet hair over his right eye. "Uhm...Hi K-Kacchan?" He shuddered.
The blood in my veins begain to boil as he looked away from me. Here I was, making the effort to try and talk to him and I'm still being ignored. I stomped my way up to his bed and glare down at him but he keeps his head down. "I-Is there something you need?"
"The last time we were this close you told me fhat you weren't ignoring me but in the last several months it's obvious that you are. I'm making an effort here. Give me a lead or an idea of what's going on!" I couldn't help but be angry.
There was a moment of absolute silence. The wind outside sounded like gunfire in my ears as I waited for something...anything. Deku took a deep breath but kept looking down. "You know. " I said silently. "I heard you talking to Recovery girl the other day about an injury." Dekus body went stiff
"I couldn't help but think...you are All Mights successor and you get injured a lot so I thought maybe it had something to do with that but that's not it is it?"
Deku quickly stood up, about knocking me over as he ran towards his door. I reached out and grabbed his leg, he crashed to the floor with a heavy thud. He scrambled to stand up but I kept a hold of his leg. He fought against my grasp as I managed to pull myself up into a kneeling position. Choked sobs filled the room. I had heard him cry before but this time was different. I hesitated briefly which gave him enough time to kick me in the chest with his free leg. I released him and grabbed ahold of my chest trying to catch my breath. He again scrambled to his feet but tripped over himself in fear. I glared at him as I leaned forward and took ahold of his arm yanking him back into me. I pulled him in and wrapped both of my arms around his torso while he struggled against me. "FUCKING LET ME GO!" Deku snapped
I was stunned, I had never heard Deku curse before and hearing it now was definitely a surprise. "Not till you tell me what the hell is going on shitty nerd!" I snapped back
He pushed my arms away from him just enough to slip out from underneath my grasp. I wasn't going to let him get away so in a desperate last attempt, I stood up as fast as I could and managed to push him into the wall. I grabbed one hand and held it above his head while the other was held down at his side. He kept his head down as low as he could but he I think he had given up on trying to fight back. His shoulders shook with sobs and both of our breathing was ragged. This was my last chance to get some answer's and I would do whatever it took.
