It was a rainy day in March and it was starting to get colder in Sydney, but that didn't stop me from going outside and giving my old man a visit at his grave.

I was sitting down in front of his grave like I often did, just talking to him in my mind, like usually.

After an hour I began to freeze so I said goodbye to my dad and walked away slowly.

Shortly before reaching the end of the graveyard I looked over to my right side, on which Luke's brother was buried.

I saw a man standing in front of Josh's grave and even though I normally was really shy, I decided to approach him.

"Hey" I said, extending my hand to the man I recognized to be Luke's father. It was weird to see him because it was the first time I ever saw him in real life, as he was never really around and since his relationship to Luke wasn't that good, Luke never introduced me to him.

"Hello?" the man answered a little surprised, he probably didn't even know that Luke was in a relationship.

"I'm Bella, Luke's girlfriend."

"Luke's girlfriend?" he repeated and I nodded. "Right" he said, stretching the word awkwardly.

"It's nice to finally meet you." I said, even though I had no idea why I was being polite to the man that treated my boyfriend like shit.

"You too" Luke's father smiled at me and I made an awkward gesture towards the road. "I gotta get going, see you around."

"See you, Bella" he smiled and I backed off, thinking that Luke's father seemed really nice after all.

I was just texting Luke on my way home when Michael called me and told me that he'd pick me up in 30 minutes because we were supposed to meet Ashton for dinner.

Ashton was already waiting for us, smiling brightly, like he always was.

"Hey mate, what's up?" Michael was the first to hug Ashton.

"I missed you guys" Ashton said and hugged me aswell. "Hi Bella."

"We just hung out 4 days ago" I said, chuckling a little.

"So what? I still missed you guys" Ashton said and Michael and I shook our heads, grinning at our older friend.

"When are Luke and Calum coming over again?" Ashton asked and I started smiling. "Not long anymore, they're coming over at some time in the holidays"

Ashton nodded, grinning as he saw how excited I was to see both my boyfriend and my other best friend, but I knew that he was really lookinh forward to seeing them aswell.

Michael and I only had a few days of school left in the first term of this year and we were only 3 terms away from graduating by now.

After eating, Michael suggested to go down to the beach as it was such a nice, sunny day and the sunset would be gorgeous that day, but Ashton ditched because he promised his parents to watch his little brother that day so Michael and I walked down to the beach alone.

Just as we sat down on the warm sand, my phone started buzzing in my pocket.

It was Luke, so I gave Michael an apologetic look and picked up.

"Hi" I said, smiling when Luke returned the greeting.

"What are you doing?" Luke wanted to know and when I told him I was at the beach with Michael, Michael grabbed the phone and took it away from me to talk to Luke himself.

I could only hear the parts where Michael talked so I couldn't quite understand what they were talking about but I was pretty sure it was just random smalltalk.
