Luke and I were woken up by my mother the next morning, who kept on knocking on my door until we got up and eventually we got dressed and made our way downstairs.

"You didn't have to do all of this, Debbie" Luke said politely when we got downstairs to a beautiful looking table full of food.

"I know, but I wanted to, it's fine, Luke" my mum assured him and I smiled at her.

Luke and I had some lovely breakfast with my mum and afterwards Luke and I went up to my room again.

"You know whats weird?" Luke asked and I shrugged. "Tell me"

"Your family is more like a family to me than my own."

I pouted a bit. "Don't say that"

"But it's the truth."

I smiled at Luke sadly. "That's quite sad"

Luke shrugged, laughing. "I only know it that way and at least I got a dope brother"

I smiled, pecking Luke's cheek as I remembered that I bumped into his father the other day.

"Do you ever talk to your dad?"

Luke furrowed his eyebrows. "Why?"

"I met him yesterday"

Luke sat up straight and looked at me confused. "Where?"

"The graveyard. He was really nice."

"You talked to him?"

"Yea, I introduced myself."

Luke sighed a little annoyed. "Why would you do that?"

"Luke, he's your father and I never even met him before."

"So what? I don't exist for him so there's no point in him knowing you."
"You're being rude right now."

"Bella, I'm being realistic." Luke snapped, shaking his head annoyed.

"I'm sorry" I sighed but Luke didn't
even react. "Let's not fight about this, okay?"

Luke shrugged and suddenly he began to chuckle a little. "I love how we're fighting about stuff like this right now"

I furrowed my eyebrows "Why?"

"I used to be such a douchebag, I know how bad I was and now this is bad behaviour for me."

I smiled, thinking back to the times Luke insulted me before I really got to know him and it suddenly hit me how both of us had changed for the better - Luke just became one of the nicest people ever and I definitely overcame the depression I felt for the first year of my dad passing away.

"I'm proud of you" I told Luke and pulles him closer to kiss him and as I did so, I could feel him smile against my lips.

"Do you remember how I told you that my medication causes moodswings?"
Luke asked and I nodded.
"Well, I was lying."

I opened my eyes widely, pretending to be shocked. "Jerk Luke lied to me? I would have never suspected that."

Luke chuckled a little. "Actually the combination of alcohol, drugs and those pills caused me moodswings."

I smiled at Luke, a little over a year ago I wouldn't even talk to him if I was dared to and now I was amazed by what a wonderful person he was every day.

Luke didn't stay that long anymore, he had to go home because his mum wanted him to, but he said he would call me later so that we could hang out and just three hours later my cellphone rang.

"He talked to me"

"Well, hello Luke and who did?"

"My father."

I was speechless for a second, this had to be a huge deal to Luke. "What did he say?" I asked all excited.

"You got a lovely girlfriend" Luke said and I could practically feel how proud he must have looked at that moment and just the thought of that made me blush.

"That is the cutest thing ever."
Luke and I talked some more and he told me that Calum would come over the next day, which was a actually a monday and that I had to come by after school.

School passed by slowly the next day because both Michael and I were really excited to go to Luke's after school as he said that he and Calum had to announce something regarding the band but they wouldn't say what it was.
Michael and I went to Luke's directly after school and Ashton didn't arrive yet, which disappointed us but it also gave us some more time to greet Calum and catch up with our friend, who had been gone for 3 months just like Luke.
A while after we arrived, Ashton finally came by and we practically dragged him into the living room and after we gave him a few seconds to greet Calum we told Luke and Calum to spill the news.

"We got the opportunity to play a few shows around the country"

Michael, Ashton and I widened our eyes as our mouths fell open. The boys only published their EP a few weeks ago and even though it sold incredible amounts, the boys still weren't signed to any record label.

"How?" Ashton asked confused and Calum said:"A friend of ours has a father, who's some kind of manager and he could book us a few shows."

"Wow" Michael said impressed and Ashton got all excited, but Luke calmed him down immediately.

"We might not do it" Luke said ans started chewing on his lipring.

"Why not?" I furrowed my eyebrows and Luke pointed at Calum. "I don't want to miss that much stuff at UNI right now, I'd have to leave for quite a few days."

Ashton groaned but Michael agreed. "I guess I couldn't miss school either"
"We'd play the shows while you're on holidays" Luke said and Michael suddenly stood up and let himself fall onto Calum.

"Come on Cal, this is a once in a lifetime chance" Michael murmured into Calum's ear while Calum tried to push the currently green haired guy off of him.

"I promise that I'll think of it again" Calum said and Michael got off of him and soon Calum, Ashton and Michael left, leaving me alone with Luke.

"Do you think Calum is gonna agree to do the tour thing?"

"I hope so" Luke said, slightly smiling at me. "Would you come with us?"

"On a roadtrip with 4 smelly, annoying boys?" I asked and laughed a little. "Of course I would"

Luke rolled his eyes and grinned at me before leaning in and kissing me softly.
