The next morning, Klaus stopped by Theo's apartment, just to see how he was doing, and definitely not because Klaus missed Theo a little bit already. For some reason, Klaus cared about Theo a little bit more than he did for everyone else.
Klaus had picked up a box of cereal from the store on his way over. It was Captain Crunch, the berry flavored one. The two didn't know a lot about each other, but they did know what each other's favorite cereal was. He set the box on Theo's kitchen counter, which was covered in cigarette ashes and random pieces of food. "Gross" Klaus whispered to himself.
The living room was a total disaster as well, there were wrappers and crumbs all over the place. Like the counter in the kitchen, the coffee table was covered in cigarette ashes. Klaus couldn't let Theo live in all that filth, so he cleaned up a little. All he did was just pick up the wrappers and wipe off all the ashes. It was the least he could do.
Once the living room was slightly straightened up, Klaus quietly walked to Theo's bedroom, and leaned against the doorframe. Theo was still sound asleep, laying on his back with his mouth wide open and snoring loud. The sight brought a smile to Klaus's face, and made his chest feel tight. He didn't know why the man in front of him made him feel that way, but he didn't think much of it.
He turned on his heel, and walked back into the kitchen.
Twenty minutes later, the sound of soft footsteps filled the quiet apartment, and Theo found Klaus sitting in his kitchen. "Are you just breakin' in here whenever you feel like it?" Theo asked.
His voice caused Klaus to jump a little, he didn't realize Theo was awake; He wasn't paying attention. "Actually, I just brought you some cereal."
Theo smiled a little and picked up the box of cereal, "Thanks. You want some?" He reached up into the cabinet and grabbed two bowls, then turned around to look at Klaus with a raised eyebrow. "Sure." Klaus finally answered.
He filled the bowls with cereal and poured milk in both bowls, then pushed one bowl over to Klaus. "Uhh.... Theo, you forgot the spoons." Klaus pointed out.
Theo hummed and grabbed two spoons out of the silverware drawer, he tossed one over to Klaus, who caught it with ease. "You could've just handed it to me." Klaus murmured. Theo just took a bite of cereal and shrugged, "I like to throw shit."
His comment made Klaus laugh a little, and that tight feeling in his chest returned. "So... who was that woman that was here a few days ago? She was saying something about your birthdays..."
Theo let out a loud sigh, and looked down at his cereal. "That was just my sister Electra. Who was allegedly dead up until now." He muttered.
"Theo.... we share the same birthday, yknow"
This comment made Theo look up from his cereal and into Klaus's eyes. "Oh, really? What's your little gimmick?"
"I see dead people." "Rad" "What's yours?" "Electromagnetic manipulation... and I can fly" "Sweet"
The two ate the rest of their breakfast in silence.
———————————————————————— I finally planned out the rest of this story so I'm gonna try and update it more often now that I know what's gonna happen.
Also, I got a puppy on Sunday. I named him leo because he kinda looks like a little leopard.

Here's some pictures of him from earlier this morning. He's a pain in the butt when it comes to house training him but he is a very good puppy. You can't really tell, but he was blue eyes, he's so adorable 🥺🥺
