Theo glanced at his watch, it was 9 pm. He looked out of a window and realized the sky had gone dark and the street lights had flashed on. Theo knocked back one more shot, closed his tab, then stumbled out of the bar and onto the streets. Now it was time to think, which way was his apartment? After playing a short game of "eeny meeny miny mo" in his head, he decided on a random direction, and set off.
He tried his best to keep himself steady on his feet, which wasnt really working out for him. One minute he was standing, the next minute he was falling. This time, someone caught him.
"Woah, Woah- Theo?" The person asked.
Theo looked up to see Klaus, "Heyyyyy." Theo said, drunkenly drawing out the Ys. Klaus carefully plopped Theo on his feet and started walking with him in the opposite direction. "Don't know where you thought you were going, but I can assure you, your apartment isn't in this direction."
Theo laughed at Klaus's comment and continued to stumble back to his apartment with Klaus at his side.
Once they reached their destination, Klaus helped Theo inside and sat down with him on the couch.
"So..what have you been doing? Haven't heard from you in a bit." Klaus looked at Theo, who was now laying on his back with his arm hanging off the side of the couch.
Theo shrugged, "I dunno...jus' a lot of drinkin" Klaus went over to the kitchen and poured two glasses of chocolate milk, one for him, and one for Theo. He sat the glass on the coffee table next to him, "Drink your milk and sober up."
"Awwww...you got my chocolate milk!" Theo reached over to grab the cub, nearly knocking it over as soon as his hand touched the glass. "Careful."
Theo rolled his eyes at Klaus, "Careful, Shmareful"
"What have you been doin' recently? Anything fuuun?" Theo asked.
"Just dealing with my siblings."
"Ugghh! I feel you Klaus! Elektra was here now she's gone and she's ignoooring me!"
Theo giggled a little bit at how Theo was drawing out his words, he sounded like an overdramatic man-baby. "Wha's so funny? Huh?"
This only made Klaus laugh even harder, while Theo just looked at him in confusion. "Wha'ever man, don' tell me, I'll be jus' fine"
The two talked about whatever popped up, each topic usually ended with Theo getting confused as to why Klaus was laughing. At some point, Theo had finally slipped into a well needed sleep, while Klaus cleaned up all the chocolate milk he spilled.
Klaus swears he spilled more chocolate milk than he drank.
He received a text from one of his siblings, and had to leave. He grabbed a sticky note and scribbled something down, then planted a kiss on Theo's forehead, before sticking the note right on there.
Next morning, Theo woke up and pulled the note off of his face.
"You fell asleep, so I cleaned up all of your chocolate milk. Was gonna stay the night, but I had to leave..duty calls, y'know?
See you soon, Klaus x"
A smile slowly grew on Theo's face, he got up and stuck the note on the refrigerator.
As he stared at the note, his smile started to drop a little as he made a realization.
He was starting to feel things for Klaus.
Not just friendship...just something a little..more.
