Where it all began

"Hello, I'm Hatohara Mirai, nice to meet you." A voice belonging to the former Border agent, Hatohara Mirai. Two sisters that look identical greeted her back, a happy-go-lucky voice started first, "Hi Mirai! I'm Matsukaze Shiro! And this is my shy little sister, she's nice one you get to know her and when she opens up, she's just a little... self- consious about how others think about her. Kirino, greet Mirai, come on! You can't make friends like this..." Shiro nudged the little girl behind her back, after some nudging and convincing. The little midget came out of her hiding spot, "H-hell-hello I-I'm Ki-Kirino..." The little girl stuttered to greet the newcomer. Mirai chuckled and pat her head, "Nice to meet you too!" She greeted in a soft voice, Kirino lifte her head to meet a smiling face with soft brown eyes, then Kirino's lips cracked into a smile, "Yes!" She replied with a cute smile, Shiro puffed up her chest proudly and made a matter- of- factly tone in her voice. "See? I told you." Mirai and Kirino looked her with a poker face, "So what?" they asked in a bland tone, two arrows mentally struck Shiro and she acted like she was dying. Just only to the amusement of a laughing Kirino and a trying to muffle her laughter Mirai. 

Shiro pouted at the two girls who were laughing and stiffling laughter. But then she, too, bursted out into peals of laughter, after a few months with each other, Mirai, Kirino and Shiro all became close friends and they were known to be inseperable. But Mirai acting like a mother to the both of them, Shiro as the cheerleader and Kirino as the Older Sister. One night, Kirino asked out of the blue. "Hey, Mirai, do you want to go home for stay here?" Mirai looked at Kirino and smiled softly, "I'd rather stay here." Shiro raised an eyebrow, "Why?" She asked with a hint of curoisity in her voice, "Well, I'd rather not say..." Replied a hesitant Mirai, Kirino and Shiro, think It'd be best not to be so nosy, let it slide. "Hey, Mirai? Kirino? When we grow upor when we get tired of all this fighting, can we go to Earth, or Meeden? I want to see that place, where you grew up, Mir- chan." Mirai looked at Shiro about the sudden nickname, but brushed it off. "Sure." Mirai agreed, Kirino nodded, "So when we grow up or get tired of all of the war, let's go to Earth!" Shiro cheerfully proposed, Kirino nodded and Mirai poked a thumbs up, "It's decided! Wait for us, Earth!!!!" But, they should've expected that one of them would never have the chance.
