Kirino was mad, shocked and surprised at the Border agent standing on their door. And guess who was at their doorstep at 8am in the morning when Kirino was to go to border to meet up with the other members of Tamakoma? Here's the answer:

Masataka Ninomiya. Leader of the 1st B-Rank Unit, Ninomiya Unit. Mirai's... Former Unit when she worked in Border.

"Who are you?" Kirino asked, trying to mask the anger and the urge of way to scowl at the older man. "Is... Matsukaze Satou here, perhaps?" Kirino tensed a little bit, but tried to steer away the topic. "...I'm sorry, but my mother isn't here right now. So I'll have to ask you to leave." Ninomiya persisted, "Oh, can I stay for the time being, then?" Kirino clenched her hand behind her back. 

'Damn, does this guy know how to persuade someone! Right now, I need something to make him go away!  Since we can't risk, I can't risk Mirai getting caught-!'  Kirino smiled, "I'm sorry, but right now I have some business to attend to, so you wouldn't have anyone to supervise you..." Ninomiya answered, "Well then, when do you think Satou Matsukaze will be back?" Kirino pressed hr foot on the ground, "I don't know." Ninomiya sighed, "Well then, sorry for the intrusion. I will be taking my leave." Kirino closed the door and sighed in relief. When she checked outside again, Ninomiya was gone. Kirino then inspected the door for any cameras and found one.

'Very smart, for a foul-mouthed guy.' Kirino thought whilst crushing the camera in her hand. Kirino went back inside to prepare for the meeting and left the house with a note to inform Mirai of her whereabouts. Kirino closed the door and headed towards the Tamakoma Branch to meet up with Osamu, Yuma and Chika, along with Hyuse.

Kirino got to the Tamakoma Branch and then opened the door to reveal Shiori, Yotaro and Raijinmaru. Kirino smiled fondly at the boy riding the capybara. "Good morning, Yotaro." She smiled and patted Yotaro's head. Yotaro nodded and said, "The others are inside the room." Yotaro said, mentioning to the said room. Kirino went towards the door and saw Yuma, Osamu and Chika crowded on what their next strategy will be next.

"Good morning everyone." Kirino greeted. Osamu then turned his head towards Kirino, "Oh, Matsukaze! Good morning." Yuma butted in, "Kirino, did something happen? You would be screaming our ears off with your good morning." Kirino replied blankly, "Oh, is that so?" China added, "Okay, you're hiding something. Usually you would try to punch Yuma when he says that kind of stuff, but you're really calm. Something's happened to you, I know it!" Chika closed in on Kirino.

Kirino ran a hand through her hair, "Fine... Ninomiya Masataka visited my house this morning, demanding he meet someone in my household." Chika was surprised, along with Osamu and Yuma... just the usual duckface. "Who was he demanding to meet?" Osamu asked, "My mom." Kirino said, "My ADOPTIVE mom." Osamu squinted in confusion, "Why?" He asked in disbelief, Ninomiya didn't strike him as the person who would want to indulge in another B-Rank Agent's personal life.

Kirino sighed, "I... might know the reason." She crossed her arms in frustration. "And..? What is it?" Chika asked, obviously curious. "Okay. But do you guys PROMISE not to tell ANYONE in Border?" Kirino asked, eyeing all of the members whom she regarded as friends. All of them nodded. "Well, Osamu you might know this person. Hatohara Mirai." Osamu flinched in the name that Ninomiya mentioned in their... PLEASANT encounter at the Tamakoma Branch. "My mom's REAL identity... is Hatohara Mirai." Kirino said, "He must've found out by something, or someone, about my mom." And then there it was, the god-forsaken loooong past, explained.

Kirino sighed, "And THAT is the reason why. Happy?" Kirino then looked to her left to see Chika... ON THE VERGE OF CRYING?! Kirino panicked and the tried to comfort Chika "I-It's fine!! Anyways, what about your upcoming matches in the Ranking Battles?" Kirino changed the subject, "Oh! Um... We've already constructed a strategy and this... and that..." They were in the middle of talking when someone called Kirino's phone. "Excuse me a sec, guys..."

"Hello?" Kirino answered the phone, "Excuse me, but is this the number of Matsukaze Kirino, B-Rank Agent of Border?" Kirino answered, "Yes, who is this?" The masculine voice replied, "This is Masataka Ninomiya. I request to talk to you at your house along with your mother, Matsukaze Satou." Kirino stopped, and replied with a shaky voice, "Y-Yes..." And then hung up. Kirino turned towards the others, "They've found out..." She squeaked.
