When I had come back, people had noticed that I left with Eren and came back alone. Armin was the first to notice. Asking questions as if he was firing shots at me. Why did it take me so long? Had we found Mikasa? Where was Eren? My Eyes went wide as I frantically searched for a story. "W-We found Mikasa," I said, trying to make everything fit, "that's wh-why it took us so l-long, we kept going and e-eventually found h-her. She was tied up to a tr-tree and Eren t-told me to come back and tell y-you all while he untied her. He also said that since it's g-getting dark, they m-might stay there overnight and come b-back tomorrow." Forcing my voice to shake to make it sound more realistic

Armin nodded, we agreed to all go out and search for them tomorrow, but for now to get some rest. Once everyone was asleep, snuck back into Hange's lab and put everything back where it can from, hoping she wouldn't notice that I'd had it. My sneak to Hange's lab was successful. Wish I could say the same about the sneak back. When I got back inside, Armin was up, was he..waiting for me..? "Where'd you go?" He asked when I entered the room. "I..felt bad..a-about leaving Eren out there...whoever tied up Mikasa could d-do the same th-thing to Eren and it'd be all my fault." I sighed, forcing it to sound shaky, "I thought I might be able to go find them but..honestly, I'd probably land myself in the same spot and be more of a burden so... I guess I'll just go to bed now..." Armin nodded and told me that was the best idea, then I climbed into my bed and closed my eyes. Allowing myself to drift into sleep. In my dream, I bowed before (y/n) who told me she was proud that I had gotten rid of Eren and Mikasa and told me that Jean was next. I smiled and nodded and walked out of the room to go find Jean. "Marco!" I heard, "Marco wake up!" The sleep was shaken out of me by a blonde haired male. "What?" I groaned, still tired. "Cmon, we've gotta find Eren and Mikasa. I saw Jean standing behind Armin and looked around, everyone else was still asleep.

"Just us?" I asked, getting up and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

"Yeah," Armin said, "we need this to stay kind of quiet." I nodded, the less people, the better. "We'll give you a few minutes to get ready. Meet us at the mess hall," Armin said, and him and Jean walked out the door. I got ready and went to meet Armin and Jean.

"I don't remember the exact route we took, so we're going to have to split up so we can cover more." I said as we were discussing how we were going to go about this.

"that's fair,"Jean considered, "but we NEED to let ok for good place markers, and try to remember the way we came from, so we won't get lost." Armin didn't look like he agreed with us. He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it and nodded.

"just.. don't get lost." He said "are we ready to go?" Everyone nodded, so we got up, walked to the woods, said goodbye for now, and all went our own way.
