Marco's POV

"Say your fucking prayers" Eren's eyes widened, blood spilled out of his mouth, and his muscles tensed and loosened.

It was beautiful I took out the knife I had lodged in his chest. Who knew killing someone could be so easy. Stab 'em deep enough and then say goodbye. But now, I had a problem in my hands. There were two dead bodies tied to trees.

I closed my eyes for a minute, thinking of ways I could dispose of the bodies when I heard it. Along with the soft rustling of the trees and the twitter of the birds, there was the soft trickle of running water. There was a river nearby. That was it. A river meant running water. The bodies could end up anywhere, there would be no way to trace them back to me. As for the murder weapon, I could bury it and I didn't get any blood on myself that I could visible see. I gave myself a quick cut on the arm. If someone else saw blood on me, I could say I cut myself while walking through the forest. I untied Eren first, not wanting to see his pathetic limp body any longer than I had to. I dragged him to the water and dropped him in, careful not to get any blood on me. I went back to do the same thing with Mikasa and was hit with a twinge of guilt. Mikasa was innocent. She didn't want to take (y/n) from me. I only killed her to make Eren guilty. Was there another way I could have done it? Could I have pretended to kill her? No. She'd tell on me if I did that. I couldn't have that. I had to kill her. There was no other way. A small part of me didn't want to move her. Shock would be printed on her face forever, but along with that, she seemed at piece. The first thing I did was bury the knife, after that, I untied her, her body fell limp in my arms. I took her, and I sat her down gently in the water.

"I'm sorry Mikasa.." I whispered, "I caused, both only pain and torture, but your death as well.. and I apologize for that. I never should have taken away your life. And with all that said.. please. Forgive me."
