Marco's P.O.V

Sometimes, you don't understand you love something until you lose it.

I never had (Y/N), so I know exactly how much I love her, but Eren has always had Mikasa, so he doesn't know how much he loves her. Sadly, if he wants to take (Y/N) away from me, I'll have to take Mikasa away from him. The only thing is, after i'm done with her, he'll never be able to get her back.

I ran to Mikasa with fake panic in my voice. "Mikasa! Mikasa! Come here! I have to show you something!"

Before going to Mikasa, I went to Hanji's lab. Hanji was in a meeting, so she wouldn't know I stole a few things untill she came back, and by then, I will have put them back.

"What is it?" Mikasa looked at me with a blank emotion, and I tightened my grip on my bag of supplies.

"I found something amazing!" I replied, with fake excitement,

"Why don't you show Jean?" She asked "Isn't he your friend?"

"He is! But since Eren is confessing to (Y/N), I thought I would spend some time with you, you know?" Jean was no longer my friend. Of course, no one knew that. Not even Jean. When I mentioned Eren's confession to (Y/N), Mikasa's face went dark, though it was just for a split second, I saw what I would not have previously saw, but ever since I figured out what (Y/N')s true form is, I've seen the world in its true light. Mikasa nodded and agreed to come with me. I smiled and thanked her. I took her to a small area that most people didn't know was there. It was a beautiful place, but the thing I loved the most about it was the secrecy, it would be so easy to get rid of Eren and Mikasa this way! It made me kinda sad I had to hurt her, but if I didn't, Eren could take (Y/N) from me! I knew what I had to do to get to Eren, and that was hurt Mikasa. If I let Mikasa go after killing Eren, she'd be horrified, angry with me, and she would get the authorities. I couldn't have that. Once we got there, I gave her a bright smile, "Here we are, isn't it beautiful?" I asked and she gave a nod. I smiled, pulled a small flask of purple liquid (We all know purple is the color of evil) out of my bag, careful not to let her see what was inside, and offered it to her. "Here, smell this, it smells amazing!" I said, disguising my voice in a happy chirp. She hesitantly reached out her hand, so I put in her hand and shot her an assuring smile, "You can trust me." She took it and brought it up to her nose.

"Yeah," she said and handed it back to me. Her skin began to become pale, her eyes rolled into the back of her head, and she fell to the ground. No, I didn't kill her. That would have been a waste. I took a few classes on chemicals and such, so I knew which one to give her. (I know nothing about chemicals, im sorry) I took some rope out of my bag and tied Mikasa to a tree with it. I put a gag in her mouth so she couldn't scream when she woke up, then I whispered

"I'm so sorry about this Mikasa, but I have to." I said, and ran to find Eren.
