(A/N: Hey lovely butts! This is my first, official chapter to my first ever fan fiction/story! c: Be sure to vote if you enjoyed it!)

It was a late Sunday evening, about 10 hours since I arrived, as well it was the day before I start my studies here in Sydney, Australia.

My parents suggested for me to actually live in an apartment by myself, rather then staying with my aunt, Sadie, and her Collie (dog), named Charlie.

I never really knew why, my best guess was her dog, Charlie. I also had this thought that my parents disliked Sadie. I also really never knew why. As well as people in my family always referred my mother the pretty one, and her the other one.

Personally, I loved Sadie, inside out. We've never really talked to each other, since my parents would put her last to call if my other relatives were busy. I found her personality more like me. We both like the same bands and music. I was so glad I didn't bother to live in an apartment alone, even if I was thinking about it.

I've gotten to know so much about aunt Sadie. her favourite bands, as so far I remember, are Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters, with her favourite song being 'Snap Out of It'.

My room was not too small, and sadly, not to big. With mint coloured walls, a bookshelf, lots of space for music posters and Polaroids, as well as a closet that's slightly larger then the one I had back home in Manchester. Manchester.

The thought of the word kept repeating in my mind, remembering my memories and childhood there. I didn't really think the majority of the kids at my previous high school really enjoyed me, my neighbourhood probably didn't even know me that much, due to I hid too well from them.

But the one thing I missed was my family. My mom, my dad and my younger sister, Cassia. I guess I had two or three friends back at home, but I would only count one that was really close to me and a friend. Caspar.

Caspar was the only person who knew me the most out of everyone in the world so far. He wouldn't just obsess over bands as much as I do, he would with books as well. Caspar would have this library in his house filled with lots of literature such as poems, novels, plays and so much more. He'd be there whenever I needed him. Whenever I felt depressed or whenever I just wanted someone to talk to.

The students at my previous school would think were dating, while my friend would say were Friends With a few Benefits. I guess I kind of liked him, but I wouldn't say we were that deep in our everlasting friendship.

Caspar.

A tear was rolling down my cheek, and I didn't even realize that.

"Aria, come down for dinner!" I heard my aunt yell from downstairs.

I got up from my bead and quickly brushed my straight, wavy, light chestnut brown hair before heading down.

As soon as I got downstairs, I saw Charlie, her collie who was on the couch, and Sadie already at the table in the dining room. We were eating pizza and fries tonight. How odd yet enjoyable.

I took a seat as I sat down in front of her as I took a bite out of my pizza.

"So, how are you enjoying it here?" Sadie asked me. "You can just call me Sadie. You don't need to refer me to aunt, by the way."

"I really like my room," I reply. I took another bite out of my pizza and finished chewing before I spoke. "It's really nice here."

"Glad you're enjoying it here. I'll write down my number and give it to you before tonight," she said. I watch her sip her orange juice as I tried to finish my pizza quickly.
