Hey,
This is my first story on this platform(or any platform for that matter), so please feel free to leave your thoughts on the story and if you like it, please consider voting.
A little background on the story:
Ironically, this was supposed to be for my college literary magazine and it never saw the light of day, so I figured why not put it up. This story was edited by one of my closet friends, who at the time was a writing fellow and to this day is a very good editor. (I ended up continuing the story past that so the later parts are edited by yours truly.) The story is a bit grim, but I love to explore dark topics and lore and give them a bit more levity. I also think it leaves so much room for creativity. That being said this story does explore death and loss( nothing graphic, just sad), so if that is not a topic for you, please feel free to read other works :)
Firstly, lastly and forever, thanks for reading and checking it out, it means the world :)
Looking forward to hearing the responses and putting up more!
