Chapter 10

(F/c)- favorite color

As soon as I got back home I instantly went to find Kami. Which was hard to do with only one arm, as my other arm was wrapped and in a sling. I went to the kitchen to find it spotless. Kami was no where to be seen though. I looked around and said "Kami! You can come out now!" Out came Kami from out of a cupboard. He looked me up and down, his eyes landed on my arm quickly he growled and asked "who hurt you?" I watched him grow from his small form to his huge form. He walked around me and looked at me to see if I had any other wounds. He got back to my from and he then said "are you ok now?" I nodded and said "yeah." He nodded and he then said "close your eyes." Doing so, I felt something going over my neck. "Open them." I did, looking down at my neck there was a necklace, wooden beads were covering a string, there was a charm in the middle of the perfectly even amount of beads. I was confused as to what this was for. "If you ever find yourself in trouble and I am not there hold the charm and yell my name." Nodding I smiled and said "ok. One question." He looked me in the eyes and I then asked "are you going to be going to school with me?" He nodded and said "of course. Also, you could of told me you would be gone for two days." I froze. Looking at him in the eyes I asked "I was gone for two days?" He nodded.
Turning around I then said "I'm going to bed." Walking to the stairs that lead to my room I walked in, my room was a calming (F/c), the bed welcomed me. Slowly I laid down covering myself with a few blankets. Closing my eyes I felt myself fall asleep. And the only thing I saw all night was black. I felt safe and warm. Soon my eyes opened up and I looked around sitting up I saw Kami asleep on my bed. He was next to me. Shrugging I winced in pain. Fuck this hurt. Standing up I saw my pill bottles on the bedside table with a glass of water. Picking up the bottles I tried to read the small print but I couldn't. Putting the bottle down I looked at my glasses and picked them up. Slipping the thin framed rectangle glasses on I picked up the bottle and read it. One pill every 8 hours for pain, picking up the other it said one pill every 8 hours for nausea. Ok that's fine. Opening the bottles I shook a pill from each onto my hand and popped them into my mouth.
Grabbing the water I washed down the pills with a mouthful of water. Shuddering in disgust I moved over to my closet to choose the clothes I was going to use for today. Picking up a off the shoulder grey hand-knitted sweater, A skit that had a black waist band dots of black cluster more up at the top and spread out at the bottom and the base color was white, then I picked out a pair of black flats.

Dressing myself slowly I made sure I didn't hurt myself. Letting out a sigh when I was done I walked over to Kami and I lightly shook him. His eyes opened quickly and he looked around. He was angry at who touched him, letting out a growl he turned and looked at me, before he growled anymore he looked at me and he stopped. Looking at me he then said "(Y/n)? What's wrong? Did something happen?" I shook my head and said "it's time for school." He got up and shrunk. He laid on my neck and I headed downstairs. Mom was down there, making breakfast. She smiled and said "good morning sweetheart! I'll drive you to school after we eat. Oh and Kami, I made you a plate." She smiled at both of us and she then placed down one plate on the table and the other on the ground, my guess for Kami.
Kami jumped down and started to eat and I sat down eating the plate of bacon, eggs, and waffles. (Or pancakes.) I ate it slow because I didn't want to eat to quick and make myself puke it up. Once finished I picked the plate up and put it into the sink. My mother placed two other plates in the sink and started to wash all of them. She smiled as she did so. I bent down for Kami and he jumped onto my shoulders again. My mother was soon done with the dishes, walking out the the car I followed her. Getting into the passenger side as she started up the car I buckled up. Enjoying the silent drive. When she stopped in front of the school there was a huge crowd. Confused I got out and said "bye mom! Have a good day at work." "Have a good day at school sweetheart." I smiled and walked on campus weaving through the crowd. Looking up at the scanner it scanned my face and let me in without shutting the emergency door. That shocked the press. Walking in I walked through the halls and into my classroom. It was empty. So instead of just standing there I sat down on the chair, taking out a book I read to pass the time.
