Chapter 18

We got chosen for a trial run at an agency. We would stay for a few days or a week. I don't know. They said it was to help us with our quirk. And trust me Iida seemed to be acting weird. We tried to talk to him but he never answered our questions directly. Blowing off the questions about the day he ditched their place for his family. He didn't even let me give him the medal. It was confusing. So I went back to being alone, talking to izuku when I felt like it, reading, but I mainly now talk to Kami. He was the one that I could trust. He has been by my side for the whole school year. And I trust him.
It was a normal day. But when our heroics class came all of these people chose bakugou and Amy cousin. I let out a small shiver as I felt a glare going to my half and half cousin. Needless to say it was scary. But when I looked at the board I saw one person picked me. A man in downtown place. He requested for me to train under him. And I was happy apparently he was a very good friend of my father and then he wanted to train me with another person. Another one of my dads friends. I think they were brothers. I don't know. But I guess that they felt I was good enough for them. But it could be because I was their friend's daughter.
Well what ever it was I will train my best. Cause if I don't then I would feel like I was cheating myself out of it. When we got to the train station izuku, Iida, Uraraka, and I were huddled and talking. Getting ready to take our different trains to the people we were training under. Before we went we got a lecture about how we need to be respectful, don't skip, and listen to them fully. Mainly the people that goof off all the time got that talk while I was more interested an getting on my train. My suitcase that held my yokai outfit was pretty annoying but what was worse, it felt heavier. I wonder what they added. So getting on the train I had Kami asleep around my neck. He was laying there so peacefully. So I opened my suit case.
It was the same but something was added. Two things. My traditional sandals had been replaced with pure white paws and there were pure white gloves that resembled paws as well for my hands. Looking at them confused I saw a note. Picking it up I read it in my head.
Dear (Y/n),
I would like to say sorry for changing your costume up. But the two things that were added I thought you would appreciate severely. These paws that we have provided are actually very useful. As your yokai seemed to be mixed with a 9 tailed fox and a dragon type. But a quick thing about these paws. They are made of an unbreakable material but also are thin enough to left you feel the ground. They increase your speed a bit, and also helps with your jumping. They basically have the power of a 9 tailed foxes back legs and front legs. I hope you like them. And once again i am sorry about changing it with out your actual consent.

Ok I can't fight with that. It would enhance a lot of things that I lacked. I closed the case and I felt the train stop. It was my stop. Getting up and walking out of the train I saw a guy holding a sign. Confused I read it and in huge letters sprawled out to spell '(Y/n) (l/n)'. Okay... that was weird. walking up to the man I tugged on his sleeve slightly and said "excuse me sir, I'm (Y/n) (l/n). I assume you are here to pick me up." He looked down at me. He had white hair, a hat on his head with two ears, and behind him a fluffy snow leopard tail. Covering the top of his hat were a pair of goggles. What really made me confused was the outfit. A long blue trench coat with a fur hood, the shirt under it was red with what looked like a white dress shirt, his pants were just a pair of black slacks.
Ok, I can roll with this I guess, he was the person who I was going to learn from, then I guess I will get this. I smiled and he said "well, welcome to this part of town. My brother and I will train you and prepare you for all of the hardships. You will not fight any villains. Unless you are in severe trouble." I nodded at him and I then said "I understand. Thank you for deciding to take me in and train me." He nodded and ruffled my hair, my ears moved with it. This is going to be a fun ride. At least I hope so...
