Chapter 4

Just staring at the two I waited if I would of known what they wanted I would of answered them sooner. But after a minute of silence I sighed and said "yes I got in on recommendation but I wanted to do the entrance exam. So may I ask what are your concerns on me getting in on recommendation?" They were confused at first and Eraserhead then said "oh, well the reason we were going to talk about this is because you don't exactly have a yokai form. I am slightly worried that you might get hurt in my class I am teaching." So that's what he was concerned about. I sighed and said "I understand this worry of yours. But my mother feels like I am safe in this school and class. And as she is a hidden and soft spoken woman who knows her schools. And if she trusts you guys then I trust it."
They seemed to understand it. But my mother said "well, (y/n) I have to say that it is kind of dangerous. It was for me when I was your age. But are you sure you want to do this class? I know how it can be." I looked at her and said "I can take a challenge in my life. And I know I need one." She looked worried but nodded. I smiled and said "trust me mom. I am going to be fine your know how mentally strong I am." Recovery girl nodded and put her hand in my mothers and said "she is quite mentally strong for her age. She takes that from you Darci." She sighed and said "ok. But if anything happens I'll remover her from that class and put her in a safer one." The two in front of me nodded. I didn't like this but I had to agree.
The instant after I had agreed the two looked at us and Eraserhead said "well, if you will excuse us we need to get some stuff ready. (Y/n) I'll see you in the fall when school starts. If your anything like your mother you will be on time every day. Unless you are sick." Then they left. Confused I looked to my mother, my heart and mind was racing. Through that whole thing I was trying not to break my facade. Taking a deep breath I look to my mother scared and shaking. I took a breath and said "mom, can I go home." She looked confused at this but nevertheless she nodded. Recovery girl handed me a small bag, she smiled and said "there is medication in there alone with bandages. Change the bandages once in the morning and one before you go to bed until it is healed. Have a lovely day, see you next month." I gave her a smile and we started to leave.
As we exited the building we ran into a few people. But when they saw me they let us go with a quick hello and goodbye we were in the car and on the way back to my home. It was a short ride, but it comforted me to know it was just me and my mom. Letting out a sigh I looked at my mother she was focused on the road and she was always so cautious when it came to driving. But she didn't see something I did. A truck going at full speed on a red light. And before it could hit us something in me clicked.
