Arlyn's P.O.V:

Ew Lia. She's such a scumbag, I don't even know why she likes Ed, when she clearly knows he doesn't like her💁. I'm totally better than her. I've never actually knew why we hated each other, but it's been happening since 6th grade.

All I know is that she took my man away from me! Speaking of her, here she comes walking my way, act cool.

What the fripper flapper (what the fuck)! She ran right past me, usually she never runs past me, but this time she was crying😱!

For the first time in forever, I actually care about what's going on with her. So I follow her into the bathroom, quietly.

Lia's POV:

I head into the bathroom, pouring a river of tears. My bestfriend Nina, came running after me into the bathroom, screaming. "LIA, LIA. Are you okay?!" She yelled. I'm still sobbing and trying my hardest to answer, "Ni-na, di-did he notice at all?" I answer while wiping away my ugly tears.

"JEESH woman! Stop worrying about that damn boy! He's not giving you oxygen is he?!" She yells. I know he isn't giving me oxygen, but he means so much to me😔.

While Nina is trying to comfort me, in the corner of my eye I saw someone, so I quietly stopped crying. Oh god! It's Arlyn! I try to stop crying but it was already too late, she heard EVERYTHING.

As I stare her down, she came closer and closer with the most weirdest expression on her face. "Um what are you doing in here?" I ask, while trying to hide my face. "I just wanted to come use the bathroom, but I saw you crying so I didn't want to bother you guys." She said as she played with her hair.

Woah, I've never actually heard her say something so... Kindly.

"You can go ahead, but did you hear everything?" I ask, trying to whisper. "Yep.. So what exactly were you talking about?" She said while trying to sit next to me.

Um.. What do I do! She wants to know but I can't tell her I was crying over Ed! Okay, I'll have to lie to her, I don't fully trust her yet. "My uncle died... Last night." I say.

But will she really believe that😓? "Wait what? Then why did Nina, say 'Stop worrying about that damn boy!' ?" She answered with a look of disgust.

Oh fuck. She caught me there.. What in the hell do I do?! I look at Nina for an answer, but she was too busy texting.

So I'm going to tell Arlyn, honestly about what really happened. "Well.. Okay, I'll just come out clean. I was crying because I did something so forbidden in class, in front of Ed, and that led me to embarrassment.

So like I'm still trying to figure out if he saw or heard me do it because if he did, it would totally ruin me if he did see or hear it." I answer her with the most believable voice.

I hope she doesn't say anything so harsh to me, if she does, I'm gonna have to start cat fighting with this bitch. "Oh well, if he heard it, he probably wouldn't mind, if he saw it, he'd probably understand that it was an accident. Whatever your crying about so much, get your ass straightened and look at reality." She said as she got up.

Oh. My. Fucking. God. Did she really.. Oh hell to the no. I try to keep calm and tell her with the most straight forward answer, you possibly ever heard.

"Well sorry I was being such a bitch, maybe you should try learning how to make people feel better instead of making them feel like a piece of shit." I answer with my fist by my side. "What the fripper flapper! Woah there Lia, I was just trying to help. You know I suck at helping! Take a chill pill, damn." She yelled, while grabbing my wrist to calm me down.

"I'm sorry, it's just that what you said was probably the most harshest thing anyone has ever said to me, but it did help.. A bit." I answer, with a sincere voice. "It's okay. Hey, can we be friends?" She asks.

Why the heck do I want to be friends with her, when she always harasses me, but then again, she might actually be nice. So whatever, let me give it a try. "Oh what the hell, sure." I answer with a smile.

We shake hands, then give each other a nice hug. It was warm and cozy, that I actually felt comfort between us two, for the first time. "Oh did you hear about Ms. Bakers son and how he-" Right when she was going to finish, someone barged into the bathroom yelling.

"What the heck are you students doing! And you Nina, you know absolutely well that you cannot be here during this time of the day!"

Oh god dammit. It's the principal, what the hell are we going to do! "We're so sorry Ms. Nixon, we had an emergency!" Nina yells with a scared look.

"You know good and well this was no emergency, at all!" She yells, even louder than Nina. The principal shut us up and took us back to our classes in the harshest way possible. Our punishment was school volunteer work. Ugh! I hate cleaning, especially if it's school, you know some people leave surprises in the toilet!

So I am in class and I walk quietly to my desk. All my classmates stare me down with laughter and replays of what happened in their eyes.

Ed is just sitting there, staring out the window not even noticing me. What if he knows I farted while trying to answer him? Ugh! Oh crap he's turning around, so I act completely normal.

"Hey Lia, I didn't see you there. Why did you run out the class like that?" He asked, with a look that just wants to make you melt. "Uh I did something forbidden and I felt really embarrassed about it." I answered.

But wait, does that mean he doesn't know? I hope he doesn't know! "Oh, like what?" He asked. What should I say! "Burping in class." I said. That was the most worst lie I have ever told. "That's nothing to be embarrassed of, it's cute when girls like you do it." He said with a giggle.

Holy shit balls. He just called me cute right?! My cheeks began to become a pretty pink color and while trying to stay calm, our teacher Ms. Jay, came in ready to teach.

"All right class! Get your books out to page 382, we will be talking about story telling." She yelled with a boring look on her face.

Ten minutes have passed and I am already zoned out. Trying to fall asleep, Nina whispers to me something. "Psssst.. Lia! He never heard it and the class wasn't even laughing at you, they were laughing at a picture!" She whispered, trying to be secretive when she knows she's not. I'm sitting here regretting the fact that I told Arlyn everything, when the class didn't even know why I ran out crying😨.

Ms. Jay finally noticed I wasn't paying attention, so she called on me, out of no where. "Lia, what are the elements of story telling?" She asks with a smirk. Shit. I wasn't listening but I'm sure I know this!

"Expression, emotion, and vocal varieties?" I answer with a frown. "Correct! How do you know, when you weren't paying attention?" She asks with a shocked look. The class begins to giggle a bit.

She didn't have to call me out like that! Jeesh this lady. "Uh.. Because I can hear you.." I say. That was probably the worst answer but whatever she'll understand probably. "Go to the office!" She yells. What the hell did I do?! I walk my way to the office and I see my worst enemy of all time, Christine.
