I stand behind the Dauntless born and the Dauntless initiates. I'm smaller than the ones in front, so I couldn't see much. When the last Abnegation girl makes her decision–Dauntless–It’s time to leave.
I see Kayla, looking paler than ever, her eyes tickle with what look like tears. My mom was sitting on her side with a sad smile and tears running down her cheek. My heart tighten and I close my eyes, keeping my pace with the Dauntless. I have been so focus on choosing a faction, that I didn't think what awaits me in Dauntless.
The Dauntless start running down the stairs, me on there heels. I hear giggles and cackles around me with feet moving at different rhythm. What is happening? Why are we running?
The Dauntless run toward the exit and I am getting breathless by the minute. My confusion and curiosity got bigger when we head to the tracks and the familiar sound of a train horn fill my ears. All the Dauntless collocate themselves in position, awaiting for the train. The Dauntless born are use to this, so they didn't have a problem, but what about the Dauntless initiates?
The train glides toward us, giving me a full view of the doors. All of them are open for the Dauntless to jump. I watch how the Dauntless jump on the train, some of them barely falling. I gulp and start to sprint, my legs burning slightly. I jump from above, the wind blowing in my earns and throw myself sideways in the moving train. My side hurt a little, but I bit it off. My heart was thumping like crazy in my chest and I fight to keep my breath steady.
"Are they trying to kill us?" A Candor boy asks, breathless.
"Possibly," I answer, taking deep breathes. The train is picking up speed, so I drag myself away from the door. "You should get away from there."
He nods and offers me a hand. "Thomas."
I look down at his hand and shake it. "Blaze."
"I guess we are going to Dauntless headquarters," he mumbles. I nod and look out the window, seeing the city pass behind me. My mind rushes to my mom and Kayla. They probably are devastated by my decision. I hear my mom's words in my head over and over again, 'We will still love you, no matter what."

"Jump!"
I tilt my head and look down. It's to high. "I can't."
"Come on, smart-mouth, you aren't scared, are you?" An Amity boy fusses at me. He has dark hair, green eyes and chubby cheeks. The girl standing by his side slaps his stomach, "Don't start, Tyler."
My head snaps to the roof we have to fall in. What if I broke something? The possibilities of that happening are bigger than fifty percent. There are just a few minutes left. If I don't jump now, I would be factionless and I can't be factionless. I didn't leave my family for this.
With that though in mind, I launch off the moving train. A free moment, until my feet touch the ground in a hard thump and pain overcomes my legs. I fall to my knees and put my hands on the floor. Luckily, I didn't break anything. My eyes shift up to see Thomas laughing and wiggling his eyebrows. He straights himself and holds a hand for me. Gladly, I take it and pull myself up. Before I could say anything, a scream sounds from somewhere around and everyone stopped talking. The air was silent for a moment, before another scream came again. It took me a moment to realize it was coming from the edge of the roof. I rush over to see an Abnegation girl holding the edge with great force.
My hands find themselves in hers and try to pull her up, but failing. The girl's head was full with sweat and the look on her eyes was pure sorrow. She looks terrify. I avoid my eyes from looking down. If I do such thing, I will be paralyze and won't be able to help her. "Calm down," I whisper loud enough for her to hear. She doesn't listen and keeps whimpering and panting. A human brain will never listen to you, unless you speak to it firmly. Being an Erudite member surely helps you sometimes. "Enough!" I yell taking her off guard. "If you don't calm down, I won't be able to help you!"
