"Itachi..!"

Naruto glared at the akatsuki member standing on the nearby tree. He looked just the same as the first time the two of them have met. It was during Naruto's and Jiraya's mission to find Lady Tsuande and bring her back to Konoha to become Hokage after the death of Lord Sarutobi.

The same black hair, the same fighting stance, even his voice hasn't changed a bit.
While looking at Itachi he was met with two glaring red eyes. Itachi was the first Sharingan user Naruto has ever fought against. Even before he confronted Sasuke. But Naruto knew that Itachi didn't use his full power. He wanted to test the jinjuriki of the Kyuubi. He and his fellow criminals were the reason for Naruto joining Jiraya on his training trip: to control and effectively use the Nine-Tails.

"It's been a long time, Naruto Uzumaki."

Naruto continued to glare at Itachi. He wouldn't show any sign of weakness today.

"It has."

Ino glanced at Naruto. "Where do you now him from?"

But before Naruto could answer, Itachi tuned in.

"Oh, it seems I forgot to introduce ourselves. My name is Itachi Uchiha. And this...", he pointed to his shark-ish friend, "is my partner Kisame Hoshigaki."

Ino hissed. "An Uchiha! How?"

Itachi chuckled. "I'm surprised you didn't tell your friend of our meeting, Naruto."

"Because I had no reason to. And because you were beaten by Sasuke."

"Sasuke... hm.."

Naruto looked at him in suspicion. "Why are you here, Itachi? What do you want?"

"The same thing I wanted when we first met 3 years ago."

"Well, you ain't gonna get him.", Naruto yelled.

Kisame giggled. "You know who we are kid? We are Akatsuki. We get everything we want and you won't stop..."

"Don't underestimate him, Hoshigaki."

Kisame startled and looked at Itachi.

"He is strong. And he became even stronger for the past 3 years. He nearly defeated Sasuke."

Kisame laughed. "Well, no shit. Sasuke isn't even that strong. Everybody could defeat him with a bit training."

Itachi glared at Kisame. "Beware, Kisame. Even Sasuke is stronger than you think."

Kisame shrugged and looked back at the shinobi beneath them. Itachi turned to them as well.

"Now, shall we get things finished, Naruto?"

Suddenly, Itachi dissolved and turned into a bunch of crows flying away. Naruto yelled and chased after them only to be shortly attacked by Kisame and his Water jutsus. Naruto dodged them easily and continued running.

"Naruto!!!", Ino yelled. She sighed and turned to Sai and Hinata. "You take care of Shark Boy, I'll go after Naruto." She began running towards the same direction as Naruto did.

Hinata motioned to follow her but was stopped by Sai. "Hinata! I need you right here."

Hinata stepped behind Sai and went into her fighting stance.

Kisame just laughed and took his sword and rushed towards the two ninja. Sai and Hinata dodged and prepared to counter attack.

"Well, this is going to be fun hahahaha!", Kisame said as he rushed at them once again.

Sai drew his half-blade and blocked the sword attack by Kisame, thus giving Hinata enough time to attack. She used her palm combat to land some punches at Kisame who was forced to step back from Sai to block and dodge Hinata's attacks. It was a quick trades of blows and kicks until finally both of them retreated.
