"Are you sure there's no other person that you can count on?" Mingi asked with concern in his voice. "Try calling Namjoon.""I can't," Jungkook was stressed out, "he's out of town. Damn it." Jungkook was stuck at work and Misun gets dismissed in ten minutes. He knew that he couldn't leave and he knew that the school wouldn't just leave her alone. Jungkook just didn't want his daughter to feel sad or worried because she would be there longer than she was supposed to.
"I don't know..." Jungkook thought it over then it clicked. "I do have a person that I could trust." Jungkook pulled out his phone to call the dance company that Misun was enrolled under.
"Hello, this is Kiara Bradley from DanceNow how may I help you?"
"Kiara?" Jungkook was relieved that she answered the phone. "Is Hoseok there?"
"No, he just left actually. Why, is there something wrong?"
Jungkook sighed, "Yeah but nevermind. Thank you-"
"Wait!" Kiara nearly shouted over the phone. "What is it that you need help with? You sound really distressed."
Jungkook reluctantly answered, "I'm stuck at work and Misun gets off at school in about five minutes now."
"I'll pick her up for you."
Jungkook was shocked to hear that, "Wait, what? Are you sure? You don't have to do that for me."
"You're in a sticky situation and I have no classes to teach right now," Kiara clicked her tongue, "are you calling from your phone?"
"Yes."
"Okay, I'll text this number from my phone. Just send me her school address and we'll be at Starbucks when I get her."
Jungkook couldn't stop the amazing feeling that moved through his body at the relief he had, "Thank you, thank you so much, Kiara."
"No problem lets hurry so Misun won't have to wait for too long."
After getting off the phone, Jungkook got the text from Kiara almost immediately. He texted her the address and she replied back with a promise that she'll get Misun. Although Jungkook had a promise from her, he still watched the door. He was anxiously waiting while working on people's orders.
It took twenty minutes before the doorbell rung and his head snapped up, the familiar sight of his daughter's wavy hair pulled back in a ponytail came into view. She was walking hand-in-hand with Kiara, her little hand engulfed by Kiara, with a beaming grin across her face. She was skipping along, animatedly explaining something to Kiara as Kiara gave enthusiastic answers.
Mingi took cover for Jungkook when he stepped away from behind the desk and made his way to his daughter. "Misun!" It warmed his heart how her hand slipped out of Kiara's to leap into Jungkook's arms. Jungkook effortlessly held her up to peck her cheek. "I missed you so much, Misun!"
