Kiara hadn't been around Jungkook or Misun since the incident. It wasn't like she was avoiding them but she was too busy with the new establishment she was in. That night she felt loved with Misun sleeping in the middle of her and Jungkook that night. Kiara barely slept that night though, watching over Misun as if she was her own child. Kiara still taught classes at DanceNow but at the moment she had Jimin covering for her. Kiara sighed as she was sitting in the dressing room of this television show that San signed her up for.
"You're going to be on in ten minutes, okay?"
Kiara nodded at San after he informed her, "I just have to call someone real quick." San left the room to allow her to do so. Kiara hadn't had much time to contact or talk to Jungkook that day and she just needed to hear his voice to calm her nerves. She dialed his number twice and he didn't answer and Kiara was close to shooting him a text but San came back into the room, "Hey, the producers of the show are ready to start now. Come!" Kiara sighed as she slipped her phone in her purse and walked outside of the dressing room.
Before getting on the stage with the other contestants, Kiara was stopped by stagehands to make sure her costume was secure. Kiara was dressed as a unicorn to hide her identity and although she loved unicorns; she didn't enjoy the idea of being hot in a unicorn costume. Kiara was the first one to perform on the stage, nervous and anxious. However, Kiara got it together and went onto the stage with her hand gripping the microphone.
Kiara prepared for the performance all week with San and she felt like tons of weight were slowly lifting off her body while she performed. Due to her being in a mask, she couldn't really see the reactions on people's faces well enough. When Kiara finished her performance, she was happy to hear the amount of applause she received. Once Kiara stepped off the stage and went backstage, she took off her mask quickly.
"Good job out there!"
Kiara smiled at San's compliment, "Thank you, San. Also thank you for the opportunity."
"Don't even worry about it. You deserve this and better. And as much as I wanna stay backstage, you have to put back on that unicorn head and get back out there."
Kiara groaned but quickly put her unicorn head back on and walked back out, not on the stage but in one of the stage wings. Kiara was losing interest in almost all the contestants because she was tired and wanted nothing more than to talk to her boyfriend. Kiara fiddled with the fabric from her costume until she heard a voice that captivated her attention. Kiara looked up at the stage in shock, that had to have been Jungkook.
Kiara almost felt like she was gonna be nauseous, but she remained composed. She already signed an NDA on keeping her identity safe on the show so she knew she couldn't just run up and say anything to him. The show ended for the day shortly after another person performed. Kiara took press photos before she went backstage. "I could take this thing off, right?" Kiara asked one of the producers and once granted permission, she quickly stripped off the costume.
