You can be so attached to a friendship that seems never ending. Then all the sudden one day they don't answer your texts or calls. One day turns into two days, then three, then four... Days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months, and months turn into years. Then eventually you come to terms its over. They left you without an explanation, and you wondering what you done. But maybe it was for the best, because now they wont be there to hold you back. Its painful at first yes, but you'll very quickly get over it because they weren't worth your time.
