Either he saw my death glares and ignored them, or he was just plain blind. Even the nurse was flinching and it wasn't directed to her.
" I'd like to ask a few questions if that's okay with you", oh so now he speaks.
Crossing my arms as a sign for him to go ahead. He momentarily glanced at my cleavage. Looking down I realised they were almost spilling out of my v-neck blouse. Quickly I placed my arms by my side. I guess they just belong there. I rose my head to glance at him and saw his smirk.
Perv.

"Ok Ms. Evan's, your mother seems to be showing signs of endocarditis. But in order to be sure I'd like you to be honest with the answers.
"Has she been unwell, recently or say about a few months ago."

"Yes, she's being complaining of aching joints, fever, chills and all that. She's been in and out hospitals but still nothing."

"All that being, Ms. Evans?", he asked with raised eyebrows.

"You know what I mean doc"

"I don't and it's Dr. Reynolds may I add."

"Well Dr. Reynolds, I think as a doctor, you should know what comes with fever and chills, everyone knows that", I answered in a clipped tone.

I didn't mean to snap at him, but I was worried and my mind was everywhere. Sighing, I licked my lips ready to apologise, and then,

He laughed
He freaking laughed

"Ms. Evans, it was just a simple question no need to be angry. Well seeing as your not up to it right now, I'll end my questions and allow you some time with your mother. I'll be back in a few hours to take her for further diagnosis." You could hear the humour in his voice.

Does he not realise my only family has been diagnosed with some weird sickness I've never heard of, and here he is thinking this was a comedy show. How was I even going to pay the bills. Screw him, I'm not apologizing.
If I could claw his eyes out I would. I really would, with all the joy and pleasure.
But they were soo pretty.

"Is there something funny you'd like to tell me?", I mustered the coldest glare I had, I probably looked constipated, but I didn't care.

He smirked, then let out a light laugh, like I was amusing him or something. He mumbled something under his breath before looking down to answer me.
"No Ms. Evans, would that be all?"

Which God created him, cause it was definitely not the God I knew. Pinching the bridge of my nose, I sighed.
"Can you just get out?"

"I'm sorry no, I work here", the innocent look on his face just added to my fury.

My plain face must have been the breaking point because he burst into full blown laughter, tears and everything.

"Bye Ms. Evans, see you later", with that greeting he left closing the door behind his annoying self, and leaving me to wonder, is this guy even qualified?
