I wake up to my alarm clock buzzing in my ear, I try to turn it off but it keeps ringing.
To my realization it was just my twin baby girls. Aniya and Amiya, unfortunately Amiya was born deaf and her sister has been around her all the time to help her out with things. Their 5 and a half born on June 14th. And no Amiya doesn't have hearing aids there too expensive and it makes it hard for her to understand, when she gets older I was thinking of learning and teaching Amiya and Aniya sign language.

Their father is a mafia leader, I was scared of him at first and it took a while for me to warm up to him but we eventually got together. We shared a lot of ups and downs together too.
When I figured out that I was pregnant I ran away without telling him I was pregnant with his children. I only did it for the safety of my girls and finally realized it was for the safety of myself.
When I fully wake up from the shouting my girls are giving me I check the time on my clock to see that it's 5:36.
I roll my eyes because of how early they woke me up. I get out of bed getting the girls ready for school and me ready for work. I put them in matching regular outfits.

I then do my morning routine and put my hair in a bun and put on my uniform for work at Russo's diner.

I make the girls their breakfast then we watch SpongeBob while I wait for the time for me to drop the girls off at school.
It finally comes to the time where I have to drop the girls off and I'm on my way to work. While walking to the front door of the diner I see a familiar black Matte car. Wondering why there is such an expensive car like that at a greasy old place like this.
Clocking into work I feel eyes staring holes into my body, but I ignore it. Hearing my best friend Damien flirting with another straight guy costumer, I laugh. The fact that he already knew he was straight but still flirted with the guy.
The moment he stopped in front of me he got serious, it was strange because he's never serious especially at work. "What's wrong with you?" I ask not really caring. All of a sudden I hear my boss calling me over.
He asks me to sit in his office. While waiting I can't help but feel like that something bad is going to happen. My boss walking in looking a little worried, which makes me worried.
Thinking that I might get fired he actually just says, "I need you to work at table #18 and no other table, after you're done you are excused to go home." That's all he said and he escorted me out of his office without even letting me say anything else. Putting my apron on I get ready to serve my table.
Before I go to serve the table Damien tells me to have my pepper spray on me at all times, which is weird. It seems like everyone knows what's going on except for me.
Walking to the table I hear loud laughing and smell a strong aroma of cigarettes. I stop at the table and everyone gets quiet. I look up to see 5 men on each side of the long table that is set for them and one man in the middle.
Looking at him closer I realize that it was the one man I thought I'd never see again. Quickly realizing I've been quiet for to long I ask the men what they would like to order.
No one talked for a minute until a man on the upper left side of the table started laughing, then everyone at that table started laughing joining in with him.
When they were done laughing they started ordering their food and drinks, I'm pretty sure they ordered everything on the menu.
When it came to the man in the middle, also known as Lorenzo the mafia leader. He said he only wanted water then he just looked down on his phone and shooed me away.
Walking away from the table I could hear the guys from that table mumbling and staring at me. I felt like I was going to have a panic attack when I saw Lorenzo's face. He seemed like he didn't remember me, which was good.
After telling the chef what their order was I went to go talk to Damien while I waited for their order to be done. I walk up to Damien only to see that he is flirty with another guy. I pull him away and tell the guy sorry, after pulling his arm I tell him everything that happened at the table. He says, "Wait you mean to tell me that you saw ur baby daddy at that table and you think he doesn't remember you." He says with a scared and worried face. "Yes and the thing is, is that I didn't tell him I was pregnant." I tell him almost about to break down and cry. " Why didn't yo-" He gets cut off by the chef yelling order for table 18. "I'll talk to you after work ok, bye." I say speed walking away.
I forgot to tell him that the father of Amiya and Aniya didn't know that I was pregnant, so I'm glad I got saved by the bell, I guess.
Picking up the orders and taking them to the table I feel eyes staring at me and not a table full of men just one man, but again, I ignore it.
Getting to the table and setting down their orders, I finally get to Lorenzo. I put down his cup of water and tell them to have a great day, but before I could walk away someone yanks me by my arm then he whispers in my ear. "Don't think I forgot about you, I'll see you at 8."
