to be completely, very honest, this so called hang out just straight out felt like a date. i mean, everyone who say the pair thought they were the cutest couple ever. even though they aren't dating, let alone them confessing their very obvious feelings towards each other.

i mean, the way the boys would steal glances from each other and just the atmosphere all together. that's it.

it was a date, but no one knew it was.

jeongin felt as if he was dreaming. i mean, holding hands and even sometimes being inches away from hyunjin's lips. that sure would make someone feel as if this wasn't real.

hyunjin was in heaven. he would of never imagined his letters would lead to something like this. well, it wasn't exactly his letters, but you get the gist. there was even a point where hyunjin was only staring at the younger's lips.

and even while walking towards a store, the older's eyes were still on jeongin's lips. ❝hyunjin, look!❞ jeongin held up chuu's bbang bbang duck. the elder smiled softly as jeongin was going crazy over bbang bbang duck and peko plushies.

❝jeong—wait, you're not actually buying that, right?❞ hyunjin asked the younger who was now holding a huge bbang bbang duck plushie. ❝i just did.❞ the taller face palmed. he decided it was time to drag jeongin out of the store before he bought another giant plushie.

it wasn't long till jeongin whined about how hungry he was. but of course the elder thought his whining was the cutest thing of earth. the pair made their way to the food court only to be greeted with glares and smiles.

jeongin gulped.

everyone here thought him and hyunjin were a couple—did they really give off that vibe?

they sure as hell did.

jeongin blushed as hyunjin grabbed his hand and walked through the crowd. he never felt so many eyes on him before. sure, he had many eyes on him at the school fair, but nothing compared to this.

the maknae even recognized girls from his school and hid his face. it wasn't that jeongin was embarrassed to be seen hyunjin, oh no, it was more of being mistaken for dating.

it happened more times than he could count.

and he secretly liked it. being called hyunjin's boyfriend was as if he was in heaven.

shortly after being the spotlight of the entire mall, hyunjin and jeongin decided it was best to leave before anything else happened. and of course, they were holding hands for the hundredth time today.

once they reached jeongin's dorm, he stood on the first step to match hyunjin's height.

❝thank you for today,❞ jeongin softly said as he skipped. hyunjin smiled. ❝i really liked being with you today, and learning about your obsession with bbang bbang duck.❞ jeongin giggled.

jeongin stared into hyunjin's beautiful deep brown eyes, his eyes sparkled like the stars in the sky. hyunjin slowly leaned down to teach the younger's height.

their faces were so close jeongin felt hyunjin's hot breathe on his lips.

jeongin leaned in.

he closed the gap between their lips.

hyunjin's lips were on jeongin's.

jeongin was kissing hyunjin.

it felt so unreal, there was really no explanation for how both boys felt.

it felt right. kissing like this felt right.

right at that moment, someone opened the door.
