Hard to believe, mothertroopers, but the hardworking folks at Ooorah Industries have been doing these Best Of issues every year since 2014. That one was Tevun-Krus #10, otherwise known as TKX, and it was something different—even back then.
An issue with just stories?
Basically an anthology in itself. The concept being as follows: Each writer would select one of the sci-fi sub-genres covered throughout that year's TK issues, then said writers would each pump out a brand-spankin'-new story within their chosen sub-genre.
These special Best Of issues have basically stayed the same from the get-go. Sure, occasionally it gets toyed with, and one issue attempts to get two brand-new stories for each sub-genre covered that year, while another issue tries to get a new story for every single prior sub-genre since Tevun-Krus #1 (yeah, that one didn't work out too well).
2014. Now 2019. The last of the teens. Next year we hit the roaring twenties all over again. Let's hit it with a big bang, shall we, 'troopers?
