The door bell rang and Arjun opened the gate, a man was standing at the entrance, he said, "Namaste main jayprakash Maheshwari"

Tauji who was sitting on the sofas sipping his tea and reading the newspaper turned his eyes towards the man. He remembered that Jayprakash Maheshwari was one of the famous businessman of ahemdabad and is a well recognised men. Showing some familiarity he stood up and welcomed him in.

Tauji said, "Aayiye Aayiye jayprakash ji, padhate, bahu Jara Paani laana mehmaan ke liye" Naina wasn't aware of these happenings in the houses and continued her work. Jayprakash ji said, "Aap mujhe jaante hai? " Tauji in a obvious tone, "Aapko toh pura ahemdabad jaanta hai, aur bataye hame kaise Yaad kiya? " Nanaji in a serious tone said, " Baat Aisi hai jagdish ji ki main apne pote ke liye aapki beti ka haath maangane aaya hu! " Tauji replied, "Jayprakash ji Maaf Kare par hamari bitiya preeti ki shaadi Ho gyi hai! Nanaji corrected him, "Main naina ka haath maangane aaya hu" Taiji who overheard their conversation shockingly said, "Kya, naina Ka?" Both the men looked at the lady amusingly. Tauji stammering replied, "Jara Maaf kijiye, main inka parichaye kar deta hu, yeh hai meri Patani beena agarwal" Taiji getting sati savitri greeted a Namaste whilst Nanaji responded too. He thought for a while about naina who used to tell him how rude her Tauji Taiji were with her and now as he is here they are being so innocent. Nanaji thought in his mind, "sahi kehti thi naina bilkul ajeeb hai iske Tauji Taiji, Patani Bichari ladki ka kya haal karte hai, main jald se jald naina ko yahan se azaad karunga"

Tauji said, "Jayprakash ji Aap naina ko kaise jaante hai? " Jayprakash ji didn't want to spill the beans because it would result in another problem for the little girl. He stammering said, "Woh naina ko school mein dekha tha, badi hi pyaari bachi hai, bade ache sanskaar hai" Taiji taking the credit said, "Ji bachpan Se Maine hi paala posa hai" and smiled. Bela who just came there to serve water to the guest gave a badi aayi paalne posne wala look.

Anand entered the house, Bela looked at him and went towards him to take his lunch box, Tauji introduced him, "Jayprakash ji yeh hai mera chota Bhai Anand aur uski patni Bela, yeh naina ke chacha chachi" They both greeted each other. Nanaji remembered a memory when naina shared with him that her chacha chachi were like her parents, and they took care of her since childhood.
Meanwhile Rakesh also entered and Tauji introduced him as naina's father. Anand, Bela and Rakesh were shocked after hearing the proposal of married. But later Anand bela were happy to know that their niece was going to marry soon, happy tears flew through their eyes. Rakesh was least interested in his daughter's marriage which was noticed by Nanaji. Instead he was bothering about the money the groom was going to demand as they belonged to the richer sections.

After having some talks about the rishtha, naina soon entered the living room with a tray in her hand. She was shocked looking Nanaji there and her hands trembled. Taiji came towards her, pulled the chunni of her Kurta and covered her head and whispered, "Tere liye rishtha aaya hai, ja wahan jaakar beht "

Naina followed the instructions and served the tea to Nanaji. Nanaji looked at her pale face, that naina who was happy all the time, who shared each and every moment was hiding such a huge pain, he remembered the first time when due to high BP he was conscious and she took him to the hospital.
Tauji told naina about jayprakash ji, his grandson and their family business. Taiji enquired, "Kya naam bataya aapne aapke pote ka? " Nanaji replied, "Sameer " Naina's heart beat started running, she was nervous, all time Nanaji used to tell her about his grandson who was chubby, naughty as well a responsible person. She thought that maybe Nanaji has taken this decision due to the pain she is suffering from.

Anand understanding the situation asked naina to take him to her room. When Nanaji and naina were heading to the room naina was nervous about what would he ask her? What would he tell her? Coming out from her thoughts she welcomed him in her room, she grabbed a chair for him whilst she sat on the bed.

For a moment or so they both were silent, after that Nanaji started the conversation, "Naina tumhari tabiyat theek Nahin thi, tumne bataya nahin?" Naina was ashamed and she lowered her eyes. Nanaji continued, "Dekh beta main janta hu ki tu soch rahin hogi, ki yeh shaadi ki baatein kahan se aa gyi? Achanak se main Tera haath maangane kaise aa gya? "
Naina waited for him to give the answers. Naina had cried listening his words, he patted her head and said, "Dekh main bolta tha na Sab kuch theek Ho jayega, aaj main Sab kuch theek karna chahtha hu mujhe ek mauka de beta"and he joined his hands in front of her. Naina sobbingly replied, "Nanaji Aap yeh kya kar rahein hai, aap mujhse bade hai" Nanaji said, "Jab Tujhe sabse jyada meri jarorat thi tab main Tera saath Nahin de paaya, mujhe Yaad hai jab tune mujhe bataya tha ki tu sahi padhna chahti hai, tab main kuch keh nahin paaya, par ab main apne ghar ki bahu Tujhe banana chahtha hu" Naina replied, "Nananji main nahin chahti ki Aap yeh nirnaya jald baazi mein le" Nanaji quickly replied, "naina maine Bohot soch Samajh ke yeh Sab kiya hai, air main khud Se kiya wada hamesha nibhata hu" Nanaji told her about all his plans, after some more conversations, naina asked him,"Kya sameer ji ne Haa kar diya hai? " Nanaji thought that his decision to marry his grandson to her is completely right, how much she was concerned for his decisions without even knowing him. Nanaji said, "Main jo bhi Kar rahan hu tum dono ka liye hi sahi hai, main apne decision se piche nahin hatunga , naina tum mujhe batao kya tum mere ghar ki bahu banogi? Kya tum uski Khushi aur har gam mein uska saath dogi? Naina though a nervous but nodded with some confidence, if he could take such a big step for her how could she not take such a big responsibility for his son. Naina lastly said, "Nanaji Main nahin jaanti ki yeh jo bhi ho rahan hai woh sahi hai Ya Galat par aapne mere liye Itna socha, mere liye Itna bada kadam uthtaya toh main aapke saath kadam badhane ke liye taiyaar hu, main waada karti hu ki main iss rishte ko apnaungi, meri Zimmedari ko nibhaungi aur Sameer ji ka saath dungi"

Nanaji smiled, she touched his feets, and he said, "Jeeti rahon aur khush rahon, inn aankhon se aasu mat girne dena, Ab Maheshwari banne Jane wali Ho! he giggled. They moved back where the elders were sitting. While Tauji Taiji and Rakesh were shocked that how were they ready for the rishtha. Anand asked Bela to bring some mithai for the good news. Bela put a Kala ticka near her chin and said, "Ab toh naina ki bhi doli uthegi " Naina half heartedly smiled. After some time Nanaji bid a goodbye to the agarwal family and left for his home.

Sameer was at home, it was 8:00 PM now, he was worried for Nanaji as he didn't tell him his whereabouts. His gaze was fixed on the entry door. Suddenly he heard the car honk and Nanaji entered the house. Sameer went towards him and dragged him to sit on the sofa and murmured, "Nanu aapko kahan chale gye the, pataye main Kitna pareshan the, Ab jaake jaan mein jaan aayi hai" Nanaji said, "Main theek hu, sameer tujhse kuch jaroori baat karni hai! " Sameer replied, "Baat baad mein Pehle thoda aaram, Ramdhari Jara Paani leke Aa toh!" Nanaji seriously said, "Sameer main Tujhe kuch batana chahtha hu "
Sameer replied, " ha Nanaji Aap kahenge ki shaadi kar le, ek do ladki pasand karenge lenge, par main nahin Karna chahtha "and he turned to go to his room when Nanaji replied," Sameer Maine Tera rishtha Pakka kar diya hai!" Sameer was hell shocked hearing this and turned to face him.
