I pat y/n's shoulder before she stops crying. We were now at the rooftop, trying to escape from the stares and whispers we get.

"Are you okay now, Angel?" I asked and she nodded, wiping the remaining tears on her cheeks.

"Sheesh.. you'll get ugly at this point. I don't want a beautiful angel to be ugly." I said, joking around and she finally let out a chuckle.

"I'm not beautiful." She said but I only shake my head.

"You are, Angel. Don't change my mind." I said, wrapping my jacket around her shoulders.

"I'm not.. you're the angel. Being so kind and nice to me.." She pouted and I chuckled.

"I'm usually so loud but my voice feels softer when I talk to you so, be thankful," I said, pouting and she chuckled.

"I am.. knowing a friend like you and the other boys, I am thankful." She said and I pinched her cheeks.

She rests her head on my shoulder and I pull out my airpods and gave her one before I start playing music on my phone.

She hums to the song and I smiled, humming along with her.

I pouted when Chenle and y/n is still isn't in the club room but Renjun is here with y/n's bag.

"Are you sure that bubs was really shaking?" I asked and Renjun nodded.

"That guy was her ex, the one who caused her trauma. When she saw him, she literally starts to shake and about to cry." He said and Harvey sighed.

"It sounds like Y/n couldn't handle this trauma of hers. Chenle must be with her right now." Harvey said, obviously concern in his voice.

"Should we just let them be?" Jisung asked and Harvey sighed.

"It's a trauma. Y/n needs time as well. Let's just wait until we get a call or message from Chenle or when they come." Harvey said and we all nodded.

After a while, we heard the door open. We all turn our gazes to the door to see Chenle and y/n just holding his sleeve, looking very tiny and vulnerable.

"Y/n, you're okay!" Jisung runs towards them as Chenle closes the door. Jisung hugs her before he let her go after seconds.

"I'm okay..." She said softly and everyone looked at her, worried. Her hair almost covering her left eyes and Chenle's jacket around her shoulder.

"Y/n, sit down for a bit," Harvey said softly and y/n nodded. She sits beside Jeno and he softly pinches her cheeks before patting her head.

"Are you sure you're okay? I'll treat you to ice cream again." Jeno said and I tilted my head.

"You treated her to ice cream without us?" I pouted, trying to make her smile. Jeno sticks his tongue out. I stand up and dramatically gasp.

"We're friends and you didn't treat me to ice cream!" I playfully said, crossing my arms playfully and turn my head, acting like an angry child.

"We're neighbours! That's why I treated her and that I also have a soft spot for her." Jeno said but I just let out a childish 'hmph' and I notice y/n smile softly.

"If Jeno won't treat you then I will." She said and I gasped loudly.

"No, no! It's okay, I'll treat you instead." I said and Jeno let out a scoff and I saw the boys smile.

"Wow! What kind of duality do you have, Na Jaemin?" He said but I just stick my tongue out at him. I look at y/n before showing her a heart.

"Jaemin to Nana in a millisecond," Chenle said and we all laughed. I look at y/n and she was talking to the boys, almost back to her normal self.

The next second, I found myself staring at her. I bite my tongue, feeling my smile disappear and just stare at her.

I felt my smile coming back when she laughed at one of the jokes Harvey made.

I laughed at Harvey's jokes until my eyes landed on Jaemin. I notice him staring at something and I looked at the direction where he was staring at.

I felt my smile drop when it was y/n that smiling while looking at Harvey. Harvey made another joke and she laughed again.

Jaemin smiled widely, wider than his smile before and I start feeling uncomfortable. I look at y/n that met Jaemin's eyes.

She smiled at him before Jaemin looked away. I saw his ears turning red.

I shake my head, acting like I didn't see that and just go back to talking to the other boys, not letting them know what I just saw..

I don't wanna get hurt again or hurt her again... I don't want us to get hurt..
