Everyone else went to the classes but I stayed back to take care of y/n.

"Y/n, do you wanna go home first? I think it's better if  you go home." I said, placing a hand on her forehead.

"My mom.. isn't... home.. it's just... me.." She said, covering herself with the blanket but I still notice her shivering.

I remove my hoodie and hold her hand.

"Come on.. sit up," I said and she followed. I help her wear my hoodie and lay her back down.

"Let's get you home first. We have more access to everything else there." I said and she nodded.

I messaged Taeyong Hyung to drive us her house since it's not really that safe to have a sick person walk.

I wrap my arms around y/n for more warmth. I caress her hair and let her head rest on my collarbone.

"We're almost there.." Hyung said and I nodded. After two minutes, we were already here.

"Thanks for the help, Hyung."

"No problem, take care of y/n." I nodded and we get out of the car. I pull y/n closer to me as she tries to walk.

I get her keys from her bag and quickly unlock the front door. I bring her to her room after closing the door behind us.

"Don't you think that you need to change first?" I asked, taking pajamas from her closet. I made my way back to her and she was staring at me, tired.

"Come on, change into these for more comfort. I'll cook for you." I said and exited the room.

I went to her kitchen and check what I can cook. I saw a pot on the stove and checked what it is.

"Looks like someone is trying to make samgyetang but didn't finish," I said and turned on the stove.

It was close to finishing but I didn't know why that person didn't continue. Maybe they're in a rush.

I start to hear footsteps from upstairs and saw y/n slowly walking to the dining table.

"Stay in your room," I said and notice her still wearing my hoodie even though her pajamas are already long sleeves.

"I don't... want to be.. alone." She said and I sighed but softly smiled when I looked away.

I finish the soup in 20 minutes and pour some on a bowl. I put it on the table and reheat some rice and make other side dishes for her.

"Here.." I place everything on the table and she quietly wowed. I chuckled and sat down beside her.

"You can eat now unless you want me to feed you," I said and she stared at me. Her eyes went to the food then back to me.

"You seriously want me to feed you?"

I put the plates on the sink before I wash them. I take a glance at y/n that's lying down on the sofa, watching Netflix.

I smiled when y/n looks so angelic. She looks so peaceful when she looks like this. Why didn't I just meet her before I met Xiyeon?

I place the last plate on the drying rack before going to the living room where y/n is. I sit down beside her and place my hand on her forehead.

"Your temperature lowered but you're still hot," I said and dimmed the lights.

"Are you sleepy?" I asked softly and she nodded her head but a second later shakes her head.

"Is that a maybe?" I asked and she nodded. I sighed and pat her head.

"What time will your mom go home?" I asked, checking the clock.

"This... weekend.." She said and my eyes widened. She must be on a business trip or something.

"Well, I think your fever can disappear tomorrow. For the time being, I'll stay with you. Do you have extra clothes?" I asked and she nodded.

"Just check my room..." I went to her room's closet and found some sweatpants and a shirt and a black hoodie that fits me.

I change into the clothes and run back downstairs to see y/n asleep on the sofa. I chuckled and went to her side.

It was already 8 PM and I figured that Jeno would be at his house already. My house is a neighborhood away and I already messaged my mom earlier so, I'm good.

I carried y/n to her room. I left her lamp that's shaped like a cloud on and covered her with the blanket. I move her hair out of her face.

"Goodnight.." I kiss her forehead before I heard the doorbell.

I walk downstairs and opened the front door. My eyes widened when it was Jeno and he looks shocked to see me as well.

"I thought her mom is taking care of her.," Jeno said, still shocked.

"Her mom won't be home until the weekend. I'm taking care of her for the time being." I said, opening the door wider.

"Is she asleep?" He asked and I nodded.

"You're going to stay the night?" He asked again and I nodded. He then starts looking disappointed but I couldn't do anything at this point.

"I won't be going to campus until y/n is okay. You can visit y/n tomorrow. Goodnight, Jeno." I was about to close the door and he nodded, smiling softly yet weakly.

"Goodnight, Injun." He said and start to walk away. I lock the door and went back to y/n's room.

"R-Renjun.." I notice y/n breathing heavily and I run to her side.

"Hey, hey.." I let her sit up and gave her water. She has calmed down but she was sweating.

"Is it too hot?" I asked, turning up the AC and noticed her crying.

"Hey, Princess. What's wrong?" I asked as I wipe her tears away.

"It hurts, Injun.. my head hurts... so much.." She said and I grab her medicine.

"Come on, drink this." I gave her a pill and she took it. She finished the water and I help her lie down again.

"Injun, can you stay with me?" She asked and I nodded.

"Here, hold my hand," I said and she held my hand as she falls asleep. Her grip on my hand didn't loosen, instead, it became tighter.

I kissed her hand and stare at her.

"Injunnie will take your sickness away.. goodnight, princess."
