Ember~ The Wolf Queen of Hell ~ story 1

After some months, everyone in the safe house seemed to be on edge and gloomy. So Ember decided she wanted to do something nice for everyone. They had taken such good care of her after they saved her. She felt she wanted to do something nice for them all in return. So she set out to plan and organize a beautiful beach side banquet for them. She busied herself with decorating the beach with tables and pillows and a large assortment of foods to please everyone's pallets.
She was so happy working on this and shined bright like a bulb as she recieved all the compliments from everyone. What she didn't know was that just the night before, Nilsa and Gabriel had soul bounded and were now one. Sky quickly got wind of this, the queen always knows what's going on. And simply guided Ember to follow her lead. "Just keep a smile on your face and speak pleasantly," she instructed her little wolf.
Nilsa and Gabriel stood up and announced they were "married" by a binding of their souls before they actually got married.
Ember was crushed. She was supposedly with this man, and they had put it on pause. Why? She now wondered. Was it to be going behind her back for this other creature? She wanted to scream inside.
But, instead, she did exactly as Sky had instructed. Queen Sky calmly stood up, and congratulated the happy couple before she quickly excused herself from the party. She motioned to Ember to do the same.
Ember followed suit and quickly met with Sky along the beach, where they spoke in softer tones, away from the ears of the others after what they sprung on the group.
It was determined that Ember would now join Sky at the Island of Realms and live at the Faye Castle for the time being. She needed someplace safe to be at. Someplace away from these creatures. So Sky showed her the old grove tree and said her farewells to her new lady in waiting and now royal court organizer as she ducked through the tree portal to the castle to begin her new role.
