'𝐀𝐑𝐄 you and Sirius a thing now?'

They were sitting in the commodious common room on the couch, having their Defense Against The Dark Arts books sprawled on their laps, since they wanted to learn but somehow ended up not to.

Remus snapped his head towards her, having stared at the red and yellow from the fireplace. He looked at her like a kid who just got caught stealing.

'Yeah──no──I honestly don't fucking know.'

Elysian just nodded, allowing him to continue since she knew he had more to say than that. And even if he wouldn't have anything more to say, she would have had her way to force the words out of him anyway.

'I mean . . . it was just a kiss, right? But a kiss could mean different things. 'I think I have feelings for you' kiss, 'I just want you to shut the hell up' kiss, 'I actually don't know what I'm doing but it feels nice' kiss and the classic 'I love you with all my heart' kiss.'

'And what type of kiss did you and Sirius have?'

'For me, it was an 'I love you with all my heart' kiss, but I think for him it was an 'I don't know what I'm doing, but it feels nice' kiss.'

'Why do you think so?'

'Ely, it's Sirius fucking Black we are talking about.'

'I'm pretty sure his middle name was orion──'

'Shut the fuck up.'

'No, but siriusly──sorry, I just had to──I think he felt more than that. He told me it was the best kiss he ever had, Moony.'

As he gave her a questioning glance, she could tell he didn't believe her at all.

'Ask him yourself. He really said that! And to be honest, I think he loves you. I mean, the way he looks at you even Dumbledore can tell that guy is whipped for you!'

Blushing, he shook his head.

'You're just exaggerating, Ely.'

After that, they didn't talk about Sirius anymore and actually started doing their homework.

She wasn't exaggerating at all. She didn't know if she was the only one who noticed, but Sirius' eyes always sparkled when he talked about Remus.

And seeing the same sparkle in Remus' eyes when he talked about Sirius, she could tell that the guys really loved each other.

Which made her heart bleed, then Sirius' eyes would never sparkle like that because of her.
