The plane landed and the hatch opened into the woods. "Ukraine, long time no see," Bucky whispered to himself as he stepped off the plane. "You remember the last time we were here?" He asked to Nat.

"What?" She asked, confused as I was.

"They brainwashed you after every mission, just wondering if the memory came back to you... yet," Bucky mused.

"Alright, we get in, we get out," I ordered, cocking my gun. We all stepped off the plane, and we began to walk towards the coordinates.

The base began to come into view, the only building for a very long way, surrounded by seemingly infinite forest. We crouched behind a large boulder before we entered, "what's our play?" Bucky asked, sneaking a look around the rock, craning his neck to get a look, "looks like a standard B team, two by two, four pairs, two entrance points."

"Reals guns are probably inside," Nat added, looking at the situation, by leaning over me, seeing as she was in the middle of us.

"Alright, we go in, and we stay together, get Ivan... beat him around a few times, and then we get out," I explained, "and you," I grabbed Nat by the shoulders and forced her gently to look at me, "you are not leaving my side."

"No," she replied, her eyes were jumping all over my face as she studied my face, reading me like an open book, "and don't worry, Steve, I'll be fine," she insisted.

With that, we all nodded in sync, and with that, we broke. Nat went left, and I went right, Bucky quickly jumped on top of the rock, sniping as many men as he could. I watched as Nat ran at a team of two, quickly taking them down, showing no signs of fault or weakness, I didn't dare ever doubt her, but after seeing her so close to death, I kept my eyes on her. But, because of that, I got a quick punch to the jaw... I'll admit, maybe worrying about her wasn't the only reason she distracted me... maybe, no, actually, she just had that effect on me. I was mesmerized by her, dangerously so.

That dork was watching me, and I watched as he got a good fist to the face... I felt bad for him, and reminded myself to make him ice it later, but he needed to remember to keep his mind on the mission, not on me.

"That's all of them," Bucky shouted as he walked over to us.

"The door is nice and locked, you want to make good use of that arm and open it up?" I asked, changing my now empty mag and recocking my gun.

"Ya, ya," he grumbled as he forcefully ripped the door off the hinges. We threw up our guns and found the hall to empty, besides the sirens bouncing off between walls.

"Buck, you mind helping me with this," I pointed at the cover to an air duct.

"You're going up in the vents?" Steve asked, sounding as if I was crazy.

"Ya... should be good, I can get in without detection and guide you through, safe as can be," yet I could still see the hesitation in Steve's face as I told him my plan, "it's a new facility, they won't have any traps in the air vents yet."

He hesitated, and finally nodded. Bucky reached up and ripped the panel off, while Steve gave me a leg up. "Short ass," Bucky laughed to himself.

"Language," Steve at I both said at the same time, "and fuck off," I added, mad at him making fun of my stature.

"Language," all three of us said at the same time, earning a laugh, that was only cut off by the sounds of distant marching and shouting. Steve threw me the air duct cover, and I pulled it back into place, as the two marched off.
