3 YEARS

Haven

Clarke wakes up to her alarm going off. 6:30am. She shushes Haven back to sleep, then makes her way to the bathroom, she showers quick, towel drying her hair, adding some gel to hold her natural curl, then throughs on some light make up. 7am. She wakes up Haven now, brushes her teeth, does her hair, and gets her dressed. Then she makes her some quick eggs for breakfast, once she's done eating it's 7:30am so they head out the door. She drops Haven off at daycare and heads for work. She stops to get coffee on the way, stopping at Luna cafe, must be new she thinks to herself. She runs in, places her order. Large hot french vanilla coffee, extra cream, extra sugar.

"Here you are!" He says

Clarke: "Bellamy?" She says once she hears his vocie.

Bellamy: "Clarke? Hi. Hey, do you have a moment?" He asks.

Clarke: "No actually." She checks her watch "I'm going to be late for my shift!" She says grabbing the coffee heading for the door. "Bye." She yells.

Bellamy's coworker lexa come over.

Lexa: "She's cute. Who is she?" She asks.

Bellamy: "My ex girlfriend." He says

Lexa: "Oh. Do you still like her?" She asks.

Bellamy: "She doesn't like girls." He says cold.

Lexa: "You sure about that?" She smiles.

Bellamy: "She has a daughter.. and I might be the father." He says

Lexa: "Ohh. You two were serious?." She says as he nods.

Clarke gets to polis, a old fashioned diner, she's worked at over a year now. She works 8am till 4pm. Abbey was going to be picking Haven up at 1pm. Her shift flys by, she's so excited to get home and she her baby girl.

She walks through the door.

Clarke: "Mom?" She calls.

Abbey: "Kitchen!" She yells back.

Clarke sets her purse and keys down, taking her shoes off.

Clarke: "I'm gonna go change quick!" She yells back.

Abbey: "Take your time. Haven isn't here." She says

Clarke comes to a halt. And runs into the kitchen.

Clarke: "What!? Where is she??!" She says frantic.

Abbey: "Relax. Remember Bellamy? He came by, said he knew you were back, you two had seen eachother twice. He thought it was time he meet your daughter. He took her to the park." She says.

Clarke: "Mom! No no no... " She says pacing.

Abbey: "You and him were good friends. He won't hurt her." She says.

Clarke: "Mom.. you worked so much, me and Bellamy were more then friends. We dated for 2 years.. Haven also happens to be his daughter.." she says sitting down putting her head in her hands, as she crys.

Abbey: "Clarke.. you need to tell that boy! Now! Or I will!" She states.

Clarke nods her head, tears falling from her eyes. She gets up and grabs her shoes and keys and drives to the park her and bellamy use to go to all the time, the one where he had actually asked her to be his girlfriend.

She gets out and walks up, seeing then from a distance. Haven has a chocolate ice cream cone, and Bellamy has a vanilla. She slowly approaches.

Haven: "Mommy!!!" She screams out happily, running to her mom

Clarke leans down hugging her daughter.

Clarke: "Hi sweetheart!" She kisses her head. "Did you have fun today?" She asks.

Haven: "Yes!! Bellamy got me ice cream! I like him!" She says (I don't know how to write like a child would talk, so lets just pretend.)

Clarke: "He did?" She smiles looking at him. "And I get to deal with your sugar rush!" She says laughing, which causes bellamy to laugh.

Haven: "Are we going home?" She asks.

Clarke: "If that's okay. Grammy's making dinner!" She says

Haven: "Lets go!" She says excited.

Clarke: "Want a ride home?" She asks looking at bellamy.

Bellamy: "Sure." He smiles and they walk to the car.

Clarke picks up Haven sitting her in her seat, she's about to buckle her when..

Bellamy: "Can I?" He asks.

Clarke: "Yeah." She says stepping back.

Bellamy buckles Haven in and then they both get in, Clarke starts the car and they drive to her mothers. She gets out to get Haven.

Clarke: "She's asleep. She always falls asleep on car rides." She says with a slight smile.

Bellamy: "Let me." He says unbucking her and picking her up, carful not to wake her.

Clarke opens the door for him and leads him upstairs. He lays her in the bed and they both creep out of the room.

Clarke silently shuts the door. As she turns back, she sees Bellamy looking at her questionably.

She gently takes his hand and guides him into the spare room so they can talk, she lets go once they enter and she sits on the bed.

Bellamy: "Tell me I'm crazy, But that's my daughter!" He states.

Clarke starts to cry. Dropping her head into her hands. "I'm sorry" she chokes out.

Bellamy: "You couldn't have told me?! You lied and said she was Finns!" He yells, Clarke just keeps crying.

Bellamy sits next to her and gently pulls her into a hug. She cries onto him. She pulls back and wipes her tears after a little.

Clarke: "That day you told me you were going to the army.. my period was a week late.. My news wasn't that I thought we should breakup, it was that I thought I was pregnant. And when you said you were going to the army in a month..." she cries, pulling herself back together. "I didn't want you to give it up because of me, or the fact that I was pregnant. I knew you wouldn't have gone." She says, he just looks at her.

Clarke: "I wanted to call you so many times. I wanted to call you when I heard the heartbeat, when I had the first ultrasound, when I was told she was a girl. I dialed your number when I was in labor... and called.. you answered.. but I didn't speak. Nothing came out.. but hearing that little hello.. gave me the strength to deliver our daughter." She says still crying. Bellamy still had one arm around her waist.

Bellamy could see the pain, the regret, the hurt in her eyes. He pulled her into a hug.

Bellamy: "Shhh. It's okay.." he says soothing her, stroking her hair.

Clarke: "She knows all about you. I told her so many stories. She just thinks your name is Bell. We can tell her when she wakes up, after she eats dinner." She says into his chest.

Bellamy: "We don't have to rush it. You know her best, if telling her right away will help with the process okay. But if it will make her confused and scared we can wait." He says before kissing her hair.

Clarke: "I've missed you so much.." she says pulling back to look at his face. She leans forward and kisses him, he kisses back, its soft, then starts to get rough, Bellamy flips her onto her back before he pulls back sudden.

Bellamy: "I'm sorry.. I can't.. I kind of have a girlfriend." He says.
