Chapter 4: Actually Quite Pretty

I decided to go back and show you the story from Oleg's POV! Yes, I did run out of ideas and changing POV usually helps me. So, why not try that!

H/c = hair colour (I'm Australian shh!)
E/c = Eye colour

*Oleg's point of view* 2041, 9:28 am

"Hi, how can I help you today?" One of the receptionists asks me as I approach the front desk. "I'm here to speak to a Captain Fowler." I answer as I show him my ID card.

"Okay, go ahead. He's office is the big glass one." The receptionist says as he points towards the gate to enter. I just nod my head before entering and heading straight to Captain Fowler's office with as little notice as possible.

"Captain Fowler?" I ask as I enter his so called office. "Rk1000, I'm glad you're here. Please, sit." Captain Fowler says as he jesters towards one of the chairs in front of his desk. "May I ask why I'm here Captain?" I ask as I move to stand in front of his desk, completely ignoring his offer to sit down.

"You're here because CyberLife has decided to use your discovered capabilities in the field right here in Detroit." Captain Fowler answers, reminding me of the testing CyberLife demeaned necessary to know what field of work I might want to be in.

"Of course. When would you like me to start?" I ask, already good to start working. "Right now actually. CyberLife has already assigned you a partner, seeing as androids still need a partner to work in the police force." Captain Fowler states something that I knew from the second I was informed where I needed to go.

"Of course, who are they?" I ask prepared to start working as soon as I meet them. "She is Officer Y/n L/n. You will technically be her partner. She may not be the best officer, but she is the next in line to become a detective like yourself." Captain Fowler says as he gets up, walk to the his office door and looks towards a H/c, female officer who appears to be working on a report.

"Officer L/n! Can you come here please!?" He yells for her. "I'm coming!" I hear her yell back, followed by Fowler returning to his desk. "Look after her, she's not as strong physically or emotionally as some other officers." Fowler says as he sits down and waits for Officer L/n.

About a minute later she comes in. "Sorry, I didn't know you were busy." She apologises somewhat quietly as she stands at the door, obviously not expecting someone else to be in here.

"No, we were actually waiting for you. Officer L/n I'd like for you to meet the new Rk1000 model. You're new partner." Fowler says as she moves to stand next to me, stopping immediately as he says that I'm her new partner.

Once she does stop, I decided that now's the perfect time to run a scan on her, so I know as much about her as needed for our partnership. Officer Y/n L/n, her twin brother is detective Gavin Reed. Their parents separated 13 years ago but still lived together so their twin children could know each other.

When they were old enough to understand, Y/n decided to take her mother's last name, while Gavin stuck with his father's. Her E/c eyes are a result of her mother's genetics while her H/c hair is a result of her father's genetics.

She joined the police force 2 years ago, a year after the android revolution. At that time of the android revolution she was still in the academy learning how to be a police officer.

She has a very slight red mark across the right side of her face that she has tried to hide with a poor makeup job and two even lighter red marks on both of her wrists, suggesting someone tried to get her to do something she didn't want to and her partner might of blamed her for it.

As I continue scanning her a solved abuse report from a year ago comes up, it's signed off as 'anger problems on Alex Richards behalf'. Meaning that Office L/n is definitely hiding that chapter of her life in the closet. Aside from all that she's actually quite pretty.
