“I can not thank you e-nough for your actions this morning!” Foxtail said. They were both standing in front of dungeon cell at headquarters.

“Oh, I was just doing my duty,” Carol said modestly. She looked over to the monster she had captured in the cell in front of her. He had chains on his arms and legs. They were not the tightest, but still kept him from being very mobile.

“Don't take what you did lightly Silver. We would ALL be in a cage like that if you hadn't stepped in. It may be your duty, but it takes a real hero to do their duty well,” Foxtail put her hand over Carol’s shoulder, “Detectives are searching the sewer for any acompeles. We've got our first lead on where this monster came from thanks to you. Greyman is really curious if there will be any more, so he's gonna look the, thing, over. Since Greyman’s gonna do research or what not I hope he finishes by the end of today. It's more beneficial to the community that that thing is,” Foxtail pretended to slit her throat with her finger.

The monster flung itself forward trying to grab them outside the cage. He couldn't even reach where he wanted to, and was given an electric shock by the chains that held him. The system would not allow for quick movements. He screeched an agonizing wail, and fell over on his back.

“Haha! Oh get a kick out of this Silver!” Foxtail chuckled, “This is MUCH more suited for it than that cage you brought em with in!”

“Eh, he's still just as mad in either,” Carol said looking into a little dog carrier she had with her.

“Right you are!” Foxtail continued to laugh. As she did, the monster looked over at Carol, disgust in his face.

“If you're ready to come back to work I'd be happy to see you return, Silver Spark,” Foxtail grabbed her crutches and hobbled off, “If you still aren't ready I understand, but we could really use you after this new threat,” She hobbled away leaving Carol and the monster alone. He sat like like a dog, and huffed breaths of frustration. His stare felt like it was burning into her, so Carol walked away, and turned off the lights (The lights in the cell do not shut off).

On her return back to the hotel, she sat in her blankets and thought to herself. The creature’s stare still stuck under her eyelids.

Don't feel sympathetic towards that sociopath. The only thing he can do is harm. Look at what he's done to the city, the lives he took. POINT has never been weaker. He only looks that way because he's in pain. Villains feel pain too.

That didn't exactly help her case.

Well I'll prove that he really deserves this. I will visit him tomorrow, and then you'll see that he's just a mindless mutt.

In the dimly lit light's out hours of POINT the creature lay in the corner of his cage waiting. He wasn't waiting for anything particular, but with nothing left to do, it was the only thing he could.

He was unsafe, at the mercy of his captors. He couldn't comprehend a clue of his fate. He could only feel that he feared it.

Something silently snuck over with footsteps so soft it didn't make a single sound. Not until it touched the bars of the cage did the creature notice it was even there.

He turned to look at his father dressed in shade. It was a surprise, and something to look forward to, so the creature crept over to the bars. His creator crouched down over to his size, and sighed.

“Oh look what they've done to you,” His creator mourned, “We have lost this battle today,” His creator hung his head sadly. The creature stepped a little closer wondering why the first face he’d seen, seemed so sad.
