"M-Marius...?!" Asami squeaked out in a weak voice. "W-what're yo—"

Marius sped up to the figure. He was holding a shiny, luminous weapon. An axe.

"Marius, Wait!" An out-of-breath Tojo came climbing up the stairs at an impeccable speed.

The boy payed no attention to him. His left eye twitched, his grip on the axe tightened. "Get out of here, you guys. Go take care of that mech, we'll hold 'em off!" He roared.

Tojo had taken a pole from the same area where Tia had gotten hers and gripped it. The young boy was frightened, but he wanted to protect his friends and his people.

Tia's stomach throbbed from the blows she had received. She clutched her abdomen tightly with her right hand, while her left hand was holding her body upright as she knelt next to Nihon, who was still recovering from his injuries.

"You guys alright?" Tojo questioned the group. Asami merely nodded, while Miku gave a soft "Yep...!"

Nihon looked at Tia to see her response. "I'm fine as long as you guys are." She exclaimed.

"Same here." Nihon agreed, trying his very best to put with the pain coming from his mid-section.

Marius smirked the slightest bit as he took a few more steps forward towards Arania and the man. "Didn't expect us to show up, eh?" He looks back at the blonde.

Asami softly smiled at his comment. Yes, she didn't expect them to come in at the right time.

Believe it or not, Asami and Marius had been childhood friends ever since the age of 7. The two spent almost every second of every minute with each other.

"No matter what happens, I'll be by your side. We are best friends, right?" Asami had flashbacks to the young boy making a promise to her.

She snapped out of her daydreaming to hear Marius say to her, "I made a promise to you, and I plan on keeping it." He gripped the axe, giving it a hard swing towards the anonymous man.

The man stumbled backwards. "You cocky brat!" He huffs bitterly, slashing his claws at the boy.

Marius flew back by coming in contact with the weapon.

"M-Marius!" Asami yelped when she noticed the gash on his neck. It was bleeding vigorously, the cut was deep into his neck.

Marius winced in pain, wiping the cut on his sleeve to see how bad the cut was. He then looked down at his sleeve which was nearly drenched in blood. "Shit..."

The boy pushed himself up and got ahold of his axe once more. "You got me good, I'll give you that." He inched towards the man and the sadistic woman. "But unfortunately, it wasn't good enough."

Marius stopped roughly around 7 feet away from the two. "I know you're holding back, I can see it in the way you swing your hand." The boy let out a chuckle. He suddenly stopped laughing, his face painted over with a grave expression. "Let's see what you're REALLY made of." He threatened in a stern, raspy low voice.

Marius dashed towards the two at lightning speed. He took a hard swing at the man, who responded with a block with his blade glove.

They both fought for power over one another, Marius ended up winning and throwing a powerful swing.

The man was just barely able to dodge his attack. He skids backwards, getting up a few seconds after retaining his strength.

"Who the hell do you think you are trying to hurt my friends? You outta be someone high and mighty to even pull a stunt like that with these guys." The boy hissed.
