"Tia!!!"
A loud thud echoed through he alleyway. The 5 crowded the unconscious brunette, scared half to death.
"What happened?!" Miku panicked.
"She's out cold." Marius checks her pulse. "She still has a heart beat, thankfully."
The 5 feel a wave of relief fly over them.
"She's sweating profusely." Tojo pulls his sleeve up over his hand and wipes her forehead. He yanks it away when he feels how hot her forehead is. "YIKES! She's burning up!"
Marius feels her forehead with the back of his hand. He does the same thing that Tojo had done. "Yeah, that's not good in the slightest.
Miku tore off a piece of her sleeve. "Does anyone have any water?"
Everyone shook their head and began to look around them.
"Isn't there a pond around here? We're on Sakaku Street, correct?"
Tojo nods. "Yes. Meadows Peak is the next street over. It is a park next to a lake."
The pinkette smiled, "Alright, I'll be right back, don't move!" Miku dashed out of the alleyway and turned right.
Nihon looked down at the unconscious girl. He lifted up the top part of her body and rested it on his lap, holding her back. "Is she going to be okay...?"
"Probably not." Marius darkly joked.
"Oh just shut it!" He rolled his eyes.
"I'm sure she'll be alright... she's Tia, after all... she wouldn't let something like this kill her so easily." Asami reassured the boy.
"She has a point." Tojo pointed out.
Nihon then looked down at the girl once more. 'Come back to us safe and sound, alright?'
A split second later, Miku returned with a damp cloth. She placed it on Tia's forehead, putting a bit of pressure on the cloth. "That should do it!"
"Thanks, Miku." Tojo smiles.
"Sure thing, I just hope she's alright..."
A few moments of silence waved over the group until Marius muttered, "The plan worked..."
"Yeah, you and Tia both did a great job. We're all proud of you two." Miku smiled.
Marius didn't express any emotion. "It was nothing, really." His eyes were filled with sadness to the others surprise.
Asami was the only one to comfort him at the time. She gently placed a hand on the boy's shoulder and asked in a calm, gentle voice, "Are you alright, Marius?"
"I... don't know..." he responded, staring down at the unconscious girl.
Another couple moments of silence passed over the group. Marius twisted his head around, insisting that he had heard something. He pulls a pocket knife out of his hoodie pocket and yells, "Who's there?!"
A man emerged from the shadows. It wasn't the man they saw before, it was a new face that none of them had encountered before. The man was relatively muscular and had spiked maroon hair. His face was calm, gentle looking. "Hey! Are you kids alright?" He looks down at the girl. "That can't be... Tia!!!"
"You know her?!" The group questions.
"Yes, I'm a friend of her parents." The man kneels next to the girl, feeling her pulse. "She's still breathing, but her heart rate is fast..." he bites his lip, thinking of what to do.
"We did what we could..." Nihon mutters, still holding the girl in his lap.
"You did a good job. We need to find a hospital or an emergency care center. They'll help us, as well as help you." The man looked at Nihon's stomach, where blood was clearly visible at this point.
Nihon looks down as well. "Damn it...!" He thinks to himself. "That's a lot of blood..."
"Is anyone else hurt?" The man looked at the rest of the group. He noticed the huge gash on Marius' neck. "You guys sure took a beating, what happened to you all?"
"It's a long story..." Miku chuckles nervously, itching the back of her head.
"I'll take your word on it." He nods, picking up Tia. "Let's go, before something else happens."
The group then walked off in search of help.
—
"Tia.... Tia....!!! Tia, you need to wake up!"
Tia's eyes fluttered open softly, analyzing the space around her. She was lying on the ground, or what seemed to be the ground. It wasn't the alleyway, school, or her home. It was white, nothing else. The brunette sat up, rubbing her head. "Ugh... W-where am I...?"
"Nowhere you recognize." A tall, male figure stood above the girl. His face was covered with shadow. He seemed to have brown short hair parted in the middle. He wore a long sleeved white shirt with blue sleeves and a black collar. Lettering on the right side pocket of the shirt said the letters RN. Long blue pants dragged to his ankles.
"Who're you?" Tia questioned.
The figure sighs. "You just NEED to know everything, don't you?" He lets out a soft chuckle. "Gosh Tia, you're more difficult than I thought."
"HEY! WHO'RE YOU CALLING DIFFICULT?!" Tia yells.
"Calm down, Jeez! I'm just joking with you!" He chuckled again.
Tia growled under her breath. "What do you want then?!"
"I'm here to help you. Let's just say that I am what connects you to Elucidator."
"Elucidator...? Connects me...?"
"Yes. The reason why you fainted is because you used up all of my energy. I give you the power to fire the gun. If you use up my energy, you use up yours." The boy lifts his face up to reveal his features. He had pale blue eyes. His facial structure is almost the exact same as Tia's.
"You look like me..." Tia muttered under her breath.
"Thats simple to explain. It's because... I'm your twin brother."
AAAAAAAND THAT'S CHAPTER 7 LADIES AND GENTS AND NON-BINARY PEEPS! I hope you enjoyed this chapter, it took me a long time to find a way to incorporate the two new characters, Mr. Chunaku and Ryota! I'm also planning on adding some more characters to the story too in the future!
