It's been about a week since I told Kellin about what Josh did, ever since then he's been a little more protective. I'm sure he's just really afraid to lose me. I can assure you, I'd never leave Kellin, and especially not for someone like Josh.

There's only one month left in the school year, which is amazing! I can finally be my own person and make it big as a musician, probably starting by giving lessons and stuff. But what bothers me is that Kellin has another year, and I won't be there to hold his hand--literally. I just hope that everything will turn out fine.

A car honks, bringing me back to reality. It's Monday morning, and Tony is picking Mike, Jaime and I up to go to school. Tony just got his license, so he's offering rides left and right. Although I know how to drive, I still let Tony take me places; the struggle is too real to be paying for gas money. "Let's go!" I hear Jaime's shout from outside, so I grab my bag from off the floor of my room and run out the door.

"Have a nice day at school, boys." My mom, who hasn't left for work, calls after Mike and I. "Love you." She adds.

"Love you, too." We both say before leaving the house and running down the pathway to Tony's brand new car. He's been saving up for months, working everyday for this thing, too.

"Nice car, Tony." Mike says as he's getting into the back seat. He hasn't had a chance to take a look at it, mostly because mom has been forcing him to study in order to keep him away from weed.

Tony smiles and checks his rear view mirror. "I know it is." He responds, driving down the road.

For some reason, something was telling me that today was going to be a very long day.

I was right about the whole 'long day' thing. By the time it became fourth period, everyone in the school was called to the halls, to our surprise there were police officers and dogs everywhere--Mexicans and the policia don't mix.

Justin nudges me--now Justin and I weren't friends but in this instant we both had one thing on our minds--"What are the cops doing here?" He asks me nervously. I shrug.

"Beats me if I know."

The loud speaker sounds and an oh-too-familiar voice comes on. "Okay, kids. I had gotten hints from a few students that there are drugs in this building, so a locker check was issued." Mr. Sykes says. "Don't try and go to your lockers to dispose of anything, because it's useless. The police dogs will pick up the sent. Good luck." He says the last part almost sinisterly. Luckily, I have nothing to worry about, nor does Mike. I've been checking his locker every week without him knowing.

The search takes forever, resulting in a bunch of kids being taken away in cuffs. We were sent back to class so we couldn't really see their faces, we only saw them walk past, which kept everyone's attention on the doors.

"Okay, okay. That's enough. You can all stop gawking and get back to the lab." My chemistry teacher tries to get our attention, of course it's really not working.

I watch the door as a few more kids walk past with their heads down, but one guy catches my eye. When I realize by the way he's dressed and his hair style, my eyes widen. I can faintly hear the desperate pleas coming from him, saying that he's innocent--and I believe him. Cause Kellin's been set up.
