I sit on my bed, pencil in hand as I look at the empty notebook that is just begging to be filled with the most elaborate prank ever. Sadly, I haven't been able to think of anything revolutionary yet, which sucks. I told Tony that I wouldn't be able to think of anything, I've been sitting here frustrated for hours now; I think my mom is worried...

There's a knock at my door, and soon after, it opens, it's Mike. I roll my eyes at him, "You can't just knock and come in right after. That defeats the purpose of knocking." Mike laughs and falls onto my bed, immediately making himself comfortable. I groan, "You seem happy, what do you want, kid?"

Mike shrugs in response, "Bored." He says simply. He glances over to my notebook. "What're you doing?" The question makes me sigh. What am I doing? I can't make another prank. My last stunt almost cost me my best friends.

"Something stupid." I mutter, tossing the book and throwing myself back onto the bed to lay besides my brother. "I can't think of any good pranks." I admit causing Mike to get up, clearly surprised.

"Victor Fuentes, the king of pranks...can't think of anything? I highly doubt that." He chuckles. I glare at him and he gets the hint. "Oh shit, you're serious!" He pauses for a good minute before getting off of my bed and heading towards the book I had previously thrown. He tosses it back on the bed. "Get your pen. I'm helping you out." He says firmly.

I pick up my pen and my book and open it, once again staring at the blank page. "Now what?"

"Sh!" He says. "Now, what's something simple, but annoying?" I think for a minute. I've always budgeted myself when doing pranks, so it need to be practical. Something simple?

After about five minutes of thinking I finally have the perfect simple, annoying thing. "Sticky notes." I randomly say as I write it down. I look at Mike once I finish and see that he's a bit confused. "Think about it. Those little shits that forever to take off if there's a lot. Why don't we cover the whole school in em?" I explain, way too excited for this.

Mike smiles. "That's the Vic I know. I'll round the guys up, we're doing this tonight. But there's one thing."

"What?"

"You need to get the keys to the school. You have to get Kellin to sneak them from his mom. We're not just doing the outside--the wind will blow them away. We're doing every. Single. Hallway." I raise an eyebrow.

"It's Sunday." I point out. I'm sure there's going to be that one teacher who wants to come in, I doubt it though.

"If we start now we have..." He pauses and checks his phone, "About 10 hours to complete this." I think things over for a minute. If I do this, it'll draw attention away from Kellin and I can get more time in Mr Sykes' office, which means I'll be able to get more information. Along with this, I guess I can frame all this on Josh.

"Alright, bro. Let's do this!"

1:53 pm. Kellin got us the keys, he barely even questioned it, and the guys and I are all huddled around the locker room entrance, by the football field. I unlock the door. Thankfully, no one can see us breaking in...technically it's not breaking in if we have the keys...right?

We finally get inside when Tony--the natural born leader--takes control. (I only make plans, I don't advise them). "Mike, hand everyone two bags." Mike does as he's told and hands each of us two bags of sticky notes filled to the top. We went to like ten different stores going to buy these guys, and every cashier looked at us weird when we cleaned them out of one item. "Alright, I've get the gym. Mike west hallway, Jaime east hallway, Vic, you can go get Mr. Sykes' office." Tony orders.

I smile, knowing that he gave that room to me. "Oh Tony, you know me so well." I coo. He chuckles then points down the hall with a serious face, which only makes us laugh extremely hard.

With the bags in hand, I unlock the door, looking around. I close the door behind me and start to take some sticky notes and start to completely cover the room--in an organized way, of course. Thankfully the cameras still don't have memory, so whatever is caught is never going to be seen. However, I have a feeling everyone will know who did it.

As I start to cover the floors when I hear the footsteps. Holy crap! Who the hell would come in on a Sunday?!

I instantly run for cover underneath the desk when I hear the door open. I don't make a sound, I don't even breathe. Hopefully they go away. Oh dear god I hope the go away! I squeeze my eyes shut, this shit really is scary!

"Vic?" The person says in a voice that I would never forget even if I lived to be a hundred years old. Letting out that held breath I get out of hiding to see Kellin in the doorway.

"What are you doing here, Kells?" I ask him, utterly confused. Kellin shrugs and smiles meekly.

"I wanted to know what you were doing so I came here. Once I saw the guys working in the hallway, they told me where you were." Oh, makes sense. No wonder he didn't really ask about the prank. Kellin starts to look around. "Vic, are you sure this is going to help?" He utters in a small voice.

I step towards him, careful not to ruin what I've put on the floor before he came in. I cup his right cheek and brush my thumb across the soft skin as we just stare at each other. I tell him everything just by looking into his uncertain eyes, once he's reassured, he moves in to kiss me. I keep the kiss as soft and sweet as he is. When he pulls away, I rest my forehead on his and close my eyes. "Kellin, I'll protect you no matter what. I don't care who tries to hurt you, or who tries to get in my way. I WILL, protect you. I love you too much to watch you get hurt."
