"This looks simply divine." Geraldine sighs, looking at her food on the table. I nod my head. "It does look good."

I didn't want my reception to be some party, to be honest, I didn't even want one. It's just more acting for me. But everyone said I had to have one, that everyone was expecting it. So I decided to have a six course meal in another nearby hall.

So once the ceremony was over, I made my way to a little room in the hall and got changed into my smaller, more easy to get around, white dress.

"I just can't believe that you decided to become queen for your father, Your Majesty. It's just brilliant. So loving." Geraldine says as she waits for Aaron's food to be placed down on the table. "I was so pleasantly surprised when I saw your father walking you down the aisle. It was beautiful." She states lovingly between dad and I. "It feels good to be back on my feet again." Dad smiles.

Once everyone finished their apricot canapés with goat cheese, almonds and rosemary, and their vegetable soup, it was time for salad. I'm already really full. Lucky the food is so delicious.

Once everybody's plate of food has been placed down, the waiters and waitresses step back and one of them announces, "Green salad with blue cheese and cranberry vinaigrette. Please enjoy."

In amongst all the wedding organisation, I was told to choose the menu. When the chefs read it they asked if they could make a couple of changes, then when they showed me the finished menu, it was completely different. I found the whole thing rather funny, and their menu was way better anyway.

I've never been good with food. I pick up my third knife and fork of the many, making sure to use the right one, and dig into the salad, also making sure to take small bites since salad is hard to eat like a lady.

I take the napkin off my lap, pat my mouth and swallow. Following the rules of dining with royalty, everyone makes sure Aaron and I have eaten some before they dive in. We used to have to wait until dad finished his food, now it's me. It feels special to be the one.

"So, how did Your Majesty and Prince Aaron meet?" Gwen Jaywalk asks. She's the best classical piano player in all of Pivotlee; she played just a few hours earlier at the wedding.

I try to remember the story that my wiseman and I planned. But given everything that's been going on, I've completely forgotten. I reach for my bread and butter it, saying, "Aaron, why don't you tell Gwen?"

Aaron swallows his mouthful quickly, being caught off guard. "Well, I worked at an orphanage." He starts.

That parts true at least. "King Leonardo and Averi were on a tour. That's when we first met..." I pipe up, remembering the story.

"I was so amazed by the way he handled the children; so caring. We talked a lot that day, and I really liked him." I finish, taking another bite of the beautiful salad.

"A couple of weeks later, Averi called me through the orphanage and we talked on the phone for hours. Our conversations were so easy to have." Everyone's face looks like we're telling them the most romantic story, so I keep going. "So, I started visiting that shelter a lot more." I smirk as everyone laughs. "Anyway, we just started to get to know each other really well; the phone calls and visits never stopped. And since Lady Bree worked, and still does, at the palace, Aaron would come every day and pick her up. We saw each other almost every day and started dating." Aaron continues the story so I can eat.

"Yes, but we only dated for a short time. We where friends for so long it just took us a few dates to realise what we had was real. We were engaged days later."
