Hey everyone!

Sorry for my absence. Still figuring out Little Queen and the direction I want to head with it. I kind of started this story by just brain dumping, then it turned into something I really liked. I just want to apologise if certain things don't make sense or if characters or storylines aren't consistent. This is one of the first stories I've ever written so still finding my feet. (I think I've said that before)

Anyways, Once I finish this book (hoping that happens) I'm probably going to go back and change a bunch of things, so you're kinda on the journey of the making of this book with me!

Thanks for being super awesome and clicking on this chapter, I hope you enjoy it!

I wake to someone lifting my arm. As I groggily open my eyes I realise I'm draped over Aaron, the covers falling off exposing my stupid red outfit.

I bolt upright and pull the covers over myself. My cheeks heat up as I realise what was just happening.

"Sorry. You just turned over. I didn't mean to wake you." He apologises.
"It's fine. What time is it?" I rub my eyes.
"Ten past one." He says. I sigh, knowing that I'm probably not going to get any more sleep.

"Please just... forget this ever happened. Good night." I snap. I know it's not his fault that I was just lying on him half naked, but the fact that this is my life now upsets me further.

So, I turn over and glue my eyes shut, hoping that will bring sleep. But I keep replaying the scene in my head. How long were we sleeping like that? Did he see anything? My little nightgown number is pretty revealing. I bet Aarons wondering why I'm wearing this.

I know I really need some sleep if I'm going to function tomorrow. So I bring my knees up to my chest, trying to get comfortable.

Soon, I'm in the dreamy state of being nearly asleep when I hear Aaron fiddling with the covers. "Seriously!" I whisper-yell, turning over to see what on earth he is doing. I see he's not there so I look over the edge of the bed. "Aaron! What are you doing?"

He's lying on the marble floor, fluffing his pillow. "You won't sleep if I'm on the bed." He says. Even though I was nearly asleep he's probably right. I would've turned over, realised he was there again and felt too uncomfortable to fall back asleep.

Why is Aaron so darn nice? I wish I had a reason to hate him. "Your gonna get cold. I'll go get you a blanket." I pull the blankets off and walk to the bathroom. As I turn the bright light on, the first thing I see is the wedding ring on my finger. I try to ignore it and reach into the electric cabinet to grab the warmest blanket.

"Here you go." I throw him the blanket and watch as he fluffs it out. He must be really uncomfortable on the hard floor.

"You don't have to do this, you know." I say climbing into the bed. He pulls the blanket to his chin, "You have to be fresh for tomorrow." He yawns.

"Thank you. Goodnight, Aaron."

My eyes slowly open and adjust to the sunlight in the room. I sit up and stretch as I remember that I'm not in my old bed. The memories of yesterday come flooding back. I move my hand up to my face, just to double check. The shiny gold band still sits round my perfectly manicured finger.

I hear Aaron yawn from the floor of the bed. Wow, he actually slept there all night. I get up and walk to my bathroom, wanting badly to get out of my uncomfortable clothes.

"Wow, it's nine thirty." Aaron says from the room. "Really!" I yell back, "I need to get into the office."

I pop my head out the door and press the buzzer on the wall, calling for fawn. "Make sure you take the blanket off the floor. My maid needs to think we slept together." Aarons eyes go wide as he throws the pillow back on the bed.
