HELLOOOO!!! LONG TIME NO SEE! HOW'S EVERYBODY!! WELL, EXAMS ARE KILLING ME. This chapter has been sitting in my draft folders for like 6 months. OOF
So....here I am. Returning slowly. But I hope you enjoy this chapter!!
Midoriya was Bored. Bored, Bored. How many hours have passed since the departure of Momo? And why the hell wasn't Todoroki back yet? Has he perhaps forgotten about him? That would be quite despondent if that was the case.
Here he was, sitting on the bed with nothing to stare at. A whole pile of letters were scattered around him. Yes, Midoriya had taken the time to write more letters to his Yuuei friends especially All Might and his mother. Just to kill time. But in the end, doing something like for hours straight had become excruciatingly dull and BORING.
Slowly humming to himself, Midoriya's eyes could resist the temptation of glancing at the door. His gateway to escape the agonizing apathy was only a few steps away from him.
Should he take the risk and take a peek?
Well, screw it.
The boy flung the covers off him and began to nonchalantly toss all his letters into his secret drawer. Ensuring that no paper corners were poking out. Satisfied, Midoriya allowed his feet to touch the carpeted floor. Hearing the sound of floor creak under his weight, Midoriya winces. Yet he continues to proceed.
Stealthily, he began to approach the door. As he drew closer the Yuuei Prince began to hear voices from outside. He stopped, listening eagerly. But he couldn't make out what the voices were saying.Perhaps it was Momo outside, returning back to check on him.
At the thought of that, Midoriya excitedly lunged forward; grasping the handle and pushing the door open."Momo-san!" Midoriya's head poked out as he cheerfully yelled out the maid's name. Midoirya was ready to greet the figure but he didn't get far as it soon came to his attention that the person standing in front of him wasn't Momo nor Shouji-san.
Midoriya sweatdropped; awkwardly glancing at the absent post where Shoji should have been standing. What the hell?
Where was he?
Turning his attention to the newcomer, Midoriya smiled shyly. The man in front of him was dressed in a grey attire overlayed with a black vest along with a brown leather belt; a dagger was tucked in its sheath. Midoriya could clearly see embedded into the fabric was, of course, the Royal Crest of the Endeavouran symbol.
"Hello Princess" the man greeted the prudent royal, bowing his head. Midoriya mirrored the gesture.
"...Sorry, I thought you were someone else..." Midoriya muttered apologetically; beginning to retreat back into Todoroki's room.
" Ah, don't worry about that, Princess. Everyone makes mistakes" the man says in a candid tone; followed by a toothy grin.
Midoriya nods sheepishly in response to the moderately reassuring statement. But soon Momo's warning arose to reverberate in his head.'Never open to door to anyone who doesn't knock.'
Midoriya heaved a groan. He was quite a sucker when it came to not following instructions or warnings.
Averting his eyes, Midoriya dubiously dipped his head once more.
"If you don't mind, I would like to return to my chamber now".
It took the boy a heartbeat to discern that he had called Prince Todoroki's chamber 'his chamber'. Upon realising, Midoriya's face turned bright red.
