Veronica heard the statements been telecasts on the news again. She lift her head up and watched the television while adjusting her glasses and rests her back on the sofa. It's been a week since she released the statements but some news channel seems can't move on with it.
"It's been a week for God's sake..." bored Veronica while she took the remote control and changed the channel. She would rather watched a documentary about Venice than the news that can't move on with her statements.
Veronica lets the television on while she continued with her works. Anaya said that she needs rest, so Veronica decided to do her works from home. Being a real estate developer, she got lots of works to be done before everything been finalised between her company and the dealer. Veronica might looks cold and rude but when it comes to works, her clients never got a chance to complaint about anything. Suddenly, her phone started to rings. She looked at the caller ID, it's Kabir, but she didn't answer the call. She walked towards the kitchen and took a glass of water to drinks before she heard someone knocked the door. Then, she walked approaching the door before open it. And yes, it was Kabir. He was standing at the door with a smile on his face while holding a box of chocolates. Kabir even brought his luggage and of course, his Nikon DSLR camera hang perfectly on his neck.
"Hi. Can you hold this ?"said Kabir as he passed the box of chocolates to Veronica before he gave a peck on her lips and before entering the house. Veronica feels a bit blushed with that unexpected kiss, smiled before she closed the door.
"Chocolates ?"said Veronica while she checked out the box of chocolates. She loves chocolates.
"Yup, you've told me that you don't want anything from New York so I just bought you that..."said Kabir coming out from the kitchen with a glass of water.
"You're so unromantic, Kabir."scoffed Veronica while she eats one of the chocolates before continues her works. Kabir walked towards her and sits beside her.
"You're the one who just want me to come back safely to you so yeah, I'm here, baby."teased Kabir. Veronica smirked and took the glass of water from him to drinks.
"How's New York ?"asked Veronica while continues doing her works.
"New York could be better if you're with me."said Kabir as he puts down his camera besides Veronica's laptop. Veronica just rolled her eyes and smiled, hearing Kabir's sweet talks. They've been in a relationship together for a long time and they can understands each other's personalities easily.
"Veronica..."
"Yes, Kabir."
"Veeru..."
"Don't call me that, okay. I just don't like it."
"I miss you, baby..." said Kabir, frustrated when Veronica still busy doing her works.
Veronica stops and stares at Kabir. He looks like a five years old boy who sulked when his favourites ice cream is finished. Veronica smiles looking at how cute was Kabir when he pouted and look down at his camera. Then, Veronica moves herself closer to Kabir.
"Aww, you're being such a cute..." said Veronica before she kissed him. Kabir was a bit surprised with the kisses but then, he replied her kiss with full of pleasure. Kabir put his hands on Veronica's waist and pulls her closer to him as he asking more of the kisses from Veronica. Veronica moans before she slowly pushed Kabir away.
"Stop it, Kabir."
"But..."
"Go and take a bath. You're smells..." avoids Veronica as she continued doing her works again.
