Her face turns so red it's hard not to smile. She slowly scrolls her eyes up my body and takes a big swallow like her mouth has gone dry. Once her eyes land on mine I see something different then what I was expecting but I'm not positive of what it is. Shaking her head she leans over and sets my clothes on the sink.

"I couldn't get the stains out of your shirt so I took one of my brothers to give to you, I hope you don't mind black. And your jeans are stained but I get a feeling you like dirty looking jeans." She says to me before she leaves.

Throwing on my clothes I take one last look in the mirror and shake my shaggy hair around. I've never cared about how I look or what people think of me it was always just me and my mom I didn't give a shit about anyone else. When I walk out into the hallway I see Henley standing at the end holding a plate with a sandwich. She smiles "are you hungry? I made enough."

I rub the back of my neck "I don't know if your dad wants me eating your food."

"I'll share my half." She says with a smile that I can't seem to ignore. I walk with her into the kitchen and she pulls out a bar stool in front of the counter. Once I sit down she jumps down and walks around to get another plate. Shes short her hand just barley can reach for a plate I laugh silently. When she sets the sandwich in front of me I see a purplish spot appearing on he shoulder where the shirt doesn't cover. Before I know it Im reaching over and making her face me she flinches as I pull her shirt off of her shoulder.

"What are you doing?" She gasps but doesn't move. I run my hand over the bruise that is so dark against her pale skin it's almost black. Her eyes move to watch me encircle it, her chest starts to move faster that every time it rises it brushes against the palm of my hand.

"The gun did this to you the kick back was to much for you." I tell her and walk to fridge.

"It's fine I didn't even realize it was there."

"Oh really, so when you were screaming out there it wasn't because you could of possible broken your shoulder?" I reach into the freezer and go to grab a bag of vegetables.

"No I was actually screaming because I had to shot one if my teachers in the head. Not sure about you but I have problem having to kill people." She takes the veggies from my hand.

"That's what you think, that I enjoyed killing those things? I did it cause they were going to tare your face off and I'm sorry but I didn't feel like watching someone else be their dinner again. If you can't handle doing what you had to do then leave it to the people who can." I finish saying as that preppy boy comes walking in with a blonde haired girl wearing tight ass clothes, she looks like the type of girls I usually have a one nighter with.

"Christian I'm pretty sure my dad said no ones allowed in here." Of course she would know him.

"But I'm not just anyone Henley." He walks over to her and I see her tense, she clearly wants nothing to do with this douche bag. The blonde haired girl walks over to me and says something but I can't take my eyes off of Henley and how uncomfortable he is making her feel. She pushes him away from her "did you come In here for a reason?" She asks.

"Come on Henley stop being so mean to me..."

"The girl asked you a question she deserves an answer." I say cutting him off.

He glares at me and a taller boy with a few others come into the kitchen. Max I think is his name looks at all of us and says "Dad wants to talk to everyone, I guess him and Eric have some stuff to say." Everyone follows Max but Henley stays behind I start to walk out but turn around and look at her as she has her head hanging.

"Thanks for the food and uh clothes." She doesn't look up but just nods, I know she's having some kind of inner battle with herself but I don't care to stick around and help her I have my own problems.

Once I get into the barn everyone old enough is sitting around Eric and Roger. Henley walks in and takes a seat beside her brother and grabs his hand. I get a little jealous I never had a sibling I will never know what it feels like to always have someone to be there for you like they clearly have. Eric stands up and starts to talk.

"Okay so we all saw what happened this morning and what these things are very possibly capable of. When Roger and myself went out to inspect them it seemed that the ones with head damage or no head at all those ones were completely not alive." So I was right about the head thing. He continues "once we had them all dead we burnt them in a spot behind the barn. We at least know how to stop them but we need to figure out a way to stop them from coming here. Now there is fences all over this place so tomorrow I'm going to get a group and we're going to build a barrier." Once he finishes Roger stands to talk.

"My wife and I have been planning something like this happening for almost ten years now and we always planned on letting people In." As he says it I see Henley start to shift in her seat. He continues "Now I'm going to be in charge of supplies and we both will keep track of weapons. I have at least twenty guns and plenty of ammo if we use it reasonably. They seem to come to noise so I think knives might better." Henley stands shakes her head as if she has no clue what he is talking about and she walks out of the barn. Her brother stands and runs after her

"I'm sorry everyone Eric can finish talking to you about the rest I have to talk to my family." Roger stands and goes after his kids.
